Northampton and Wolves round off the League Cup second round ties on Thursday night with the Championship side favourites with the bookmakers.
Northampton (5/2 with Blue Square) will fancy their chances of an upset having gone four games unbeaten against a Wolves (6/5 with Stan James) who have picked up four points in their opening three Championship games and already lost on the road this season. They have also lost Steven Fletcher and Matt Jarvis to Premier League clubs.
Northampton have scored seven goals in their last three home games (and conceded five) while Wolves have failed to score in their only away game this season. Northampton could be on for an upset here and if they keep their goalscoring exploits up a bet on over 1.5 Northampton goals (13/8 with bet365) could prove good betting value.
A bet on over 2.5 goals in the match (8/11 Bet Victor - free £25 bet) should be a winning bet also.
