Both Teams to Score Accumulator Tips 12th July

Zrinjski vs Maribor – both teams to score

Maribor's hopes of returning to the group stage after a three year absence don't look great, with back to back friendly defeats kicking off their summer. They travel to Zrinjski for the first leg of their qualifying tie, hoping to continue the impressive European scoring they managed in 2014. They claimed a 1-1 draw to home to Chelsea that term, while they've managed to score in five of their last six games in this competition.

Zrinkski crashed out after a 1-1 draw with Legia Warsaw last season, and they're bound to have defensive worries ahead of this clash. Maribor seem capable of continuing their scoring record in Europe, given that they found the net in nine of their last 10 away league games, so we're backing both teams to score in this game between two evenly balanced sides.

Zalgiris vs Ludogorets – both teams to score

It's fair to say that Zalgiris have been waiting a while for a Champions League victory. They're on a nine game winless streak, which spans back to the summer of 2000. They are out to end that poor run at home to Ludogorets, which sees the Bulgarians making their first Champions League trip since a 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in the group stage in 2014.

The visitors are the much better team, and we have no concerns over them scoring against a poor Zalgiris side. However, Ludogorets have a poor Champions League record away, conceding against some poor sides. They slipped up at Luxembourg team F91 Dudelange in the qualifiers a few years ago, part of a run which has seen them keep just one clean sheet in their last eight trips in this competition. That makes us confident that BTTS is landing in this clash.

Zilina vs Copenhagen – both teams to score

If Zilina continue their recent friendly form, this could be a fantastic game. They've seen 25 goals scored in their four preseason friendlies so far, which leaves us expecting goals when these two meet. The hosts managed to score in their last 16 home league games, and they should have enough going forward to threaten the favourites.

Copenhagen were impressive in the Champions League last term, but they conceded at APOEL and Astra on their way to making the group stage, so Zilina have a chance here. Having scored in six of their last seven at home in this competition, we expect the home side to grab a goal, and we see both teams getting on the scoresheet in this clash.

Dundalk vs Rosenborg – both teams to score

Dundalk have won their last five games without conceding, but this is a big step up for the Irish champions. They went close to making the group stages last term, and they've got enough talent to push through the qualifying campaign once again. While we see them continuing their scoring run at home, they aren't going to extend that clean sheet record when Rosenborg come to town.

Four of Rosenborg's last five Champions League matches have seen both teams score, and we can see plenty of goals in this clash. Despite impressive European results, Dundalk haven't been able to keep clean sheets. They've conceded in five of their last six in the Champions League, while they kept a single clean sheet in the group stage of the Europa League last term. That has us backing BTTS here to round off our accumulator.
