Blackburn have scored in every game since Tony Mowbray took over. The former Middlesbrough and West Brom boss has improved the side since arriving and they should be able to find the net at Craven Cottage. They netted twice at Carrow Road on Saturday and have now scored in every game since Boxing Day. The Cottagers have now scored 17 times in 7 matches and BTTS has landed in six of those. Leeds, Forest, Wigan and Forest have all visited West London and scored recently. Both Teams have scored in each of Blackburn’s last six away trips.
The Iron have been a rich seam for BTTS backers in recent weeks and they host Rochdale at Glanford Park. Graham Alexander’s side have been having problems at the back and are dropping out of the automatic promotion contention at an alarming rate! They have scored in 5 of their last 6 matches and should find the net in front of their home crowd once again. Rochdale’s defence is causing them trouble and it’s no clean sheet in 6 for Keith Hill’s men. They’ve shipped 11 goals in 4 matches but have found the net 9 times in that run.
The Gills continue to score and concede each week under Ady Pennock and they could do so again here. They host the Trotters who will be buoyed by hitting four on Saturday. They scored past a usually solid Fleetwood backline and they should have no problem finding a way past Gillingham. The hosts have Josh Wright in-form and he netted three times at the weekend. Don’t be surprised if his name appears on the scoresheet again. They are averaging around 2 goals a game at the moment and should find the net again here.
This should be a terrific contest between two in-form sides. Blackpool hit three past Plymouth and then missed a penalty, rattled the bar and had one cleared off the line against Wycombe at the weekend. Stevenage are in terrific spirits and have netted 5 without reply in their last two matches. Darren Sarll’s men have Matt Godden bang in form who will cause plenty of problems for the Blackpool defence.
