Brentford vs Blackburn betting tips and predictions for the crucial Championship fixture on Sunday lunchtime. Read our betting preview and three tips below.
Blackburn face a tricky looking tie in West London in the battle to remain in the Championship but even a victory may not be enough…
Blackburn Rovers could be made to pay for failure to sack Owen Coyle earlier. The Scot had limited success at Ewood Park with his successor Tony Mowbray improving and toughening the side up. The East Lancashire club are in grave danger of slipping into League One just 21 years after lifting the Premier League title. They need an away victory at Griffin Park and must rely on Nottingham Forest or Birmingham to slip up. Blackburn’s away form is less than impressive with just a single win and have picked up a single victory in 13 attempts on the road. That came against fellow relegation rivals Nottingham Forest.
In contrast Brentford have strong home form and are hoping for a 5th consecutive win here. They’ve recently beaten Leeds, Derby and QPR here. After keeping just a single clean sheet on the road all season, Blackburn have now recorded back to back shut-outs on their travels and could be tough to break down. Tony Mowbray made it difficult for Villa (although they didn’t help themselves…) and ran out 1-0 winners. The Bees are unlikely to lie down and let Blackburn win here so our first Brentford vs Blackburn prediction is the draw at odds of 14/5 with Sportingbet.

Alan McCormack is leaving at the end of the season and Dean Smith may be tempted to give the veteran some minutes here. Alan Judge is a long term absentee. Jota, Lasse Vibe and Florian Josefzoon have all been in good recently and should get the nod.
Blackburn will be without Corry Evans and Gordan Greer through injury. Championship team of the week member Ryan Nyambe is likely to continue his impressive run in the side.
Blackburn won 3-2 at Ewood Park earlier in the season to make it back to back successes over the Bees. Rovers won 1-0 here last season. Brentford last tasted victory in 2015 and the sides played out a 1-1 draw in-between.
Brentford have been chalked up at around 7/5 with Blackburn available at 7/4. The traders are expecting a close match. The draw is 5/2 with the majority of firms.
Lasse Vibe leads the way in the goalscoring market closely followed by Sam Gallagher and the aforementioned Jota.
Draw – 14/5 with SportingBet.
