Champions League Accumulator Tips
Partizan Belgrade vs FK Buducnost – both teams to score
Buducnost don’t have a long Champions League history, but they have scored in three of their four matches in the competition so far. They travel to a Partizan side who have seen both teams score in three of their last four matches at home in this competition. Both sides should get forward in this tie, so we can see goals.
The visitors have reason to be confident of scoring here, so we think both teams to score is the way to go on this clash. That’s how we’re kicking off our Champions League Accumulator, as we think the 9/4 on both sides scoring here looks like fantastic value.
Karabakh vs Samtredia – Karabakh to win to nil
Samtredia are preparing for their first Champions League game, and they’ve got a tough clash against Karabakh. There’s a vast difference in European experience between these two, with Georgians heading here as massive underdogs.
The hosts have conceded in just two of their last six home Champions League games, while they won to nil in half their home Europa League games last term. They should be able to make their experience count, and claim another home win to nil.

Rijeka vs TNS – Rijeka to win to nil
Rijeka are returning to the Champions League for the first time since 1999, and they’re up against Welsh side TNS. They have had plenty of experience in the Europa League, picking up some impressive results in 2014. However, they’re making a bit of a step down ahead of this qualifier.
Having seen off Feyenoord and Standard Liege at home, while taking a point off eventual winners Sevilla, the Croatians proved their class in that competition. They finished the league season with five straight home wins to nil, while TNS have lost to nil in six of their last 10 away games in this competition. That has us backing a home win to nil in the third leg of our Champions League accumulator.
Hibernians vs Salzburg – both teams to score
Salzburg are heading to Malta as favourites to win this first leg, but the Austrian champions could be in for a test. The hosts have played five home Champions League games of late, and they’ve managed to score twice in all but one. They managed to score home and away to Tallinn in the previous round, and we see them scoring here.
Salzburg aren’t great defensively in Europe, and they’ve managed to keep a clean sheet in just two of their last 13 away games in this competition. Heavy 3-0 defeats to Malmo in 2014 and 2015 showed that the Austrians have some way to go, so we’re backing BTTS in this clash. That’s the final leg of our Champions League accumulator tip.
