Football Accumulator Tips in the Championship
Bristol City v Reading – Reading win
The Robins cannot buy a win. They looked to be heading for a point at Portman Road on Friday evening, but were undone by a late Brett Pittman strike. Tammy Abraham notched his 12th goal of the season and he’s having few problems, but Bristol City’s defence isn’t holding firm and changes are needed. Lee Johnson has to stop the rot before they fall further down the table. They’ve fallen to 17th place and have lost 9 of the last 11 fixtures in the Championship. Reading only played 45 minutes on Friday before their game was abandoned due to fog. Jaap Stam’s side have won three of the last four games and have John Swift back in the side, the midfielder helps them drive forward and is a huge boost to the team. Only Fulham and Leeds have beaten them in the last 6 matches on their travels and it’s hard to see out-of-form Bristol City coming away with all three points.
Leeds v Rotherham – Leeds win
Garry Monk’s side are looking very impressive and there’s a feel-good factor around Elland Road at the minute. They face bottom club Rotherham who are fresh off the back of a disappointing home defeat to Burton. The Whites should have beaten Aston Villa on Thursday night and hit the woodwork twice. They were the better side at Villa Park and will be looking to continue their unbeaten run here. Since the 10th of September, only Newcastle have won here and they’ve been victorious in four of their last five Championship games here. The Millers lost 2-1 at the New York Stadium to Leeds when they met at the end of November and Leeds are likely to even stronger this time around.
Wigan v Huddersfield – Huddersfield win
Wigan managed to secure a draw against Derby at the weekend, but were under the cosh for the majority of the game. Warren Joyce’s side tend to be quite solid on the road and they’ve been unable to translate it to the DW Stadium. They’ve netted just twice in six home matches and lost 3-2 to usually goal-shy Ipswich last time out. Huddersfield completely dominated Blackburn from start to finish on Saturday with Rovers netting their only real chance of the game. David Wagner’s side will hope to more clinical this time around and look set to continue their terrific recent form. They’ve won their last two away games, beating Norwich and Burton and their tactics can be perfectly executed here once more. They have goalscorers and the impressive Aaron Mooy is likely to dominate the midfield.
TREBLE ODDS – 11.6/1 with WILLIAM HILL.
