Free football accumulator tips for this weekend’s MLS fixtures including reasons for each selection on the acca and the best odds for the bet.
With precious little football on show for the next few weeks, we've turned our attention to affairs in the MLS and there's a full schedule of fixtures for us to sink our teeth into this Sunday morning. With that in mind, we've come up with a tasty looking treble that comes in at a cracking price of 16/1 with Sky Bet.
Atlanta United v Columbus Crew – BTTS and over 3.5 goals – 6/4
Our opening selection for this weekend’s accumulator tip in the MLS takes us to Atlanta United's home tie with Columbus Crew at midnight Sunday morning. The hosts might be new to the MLS this season but they haven't let that hold them back and United head into this clash as the league's leading scorers. In addition to this encouraging statistic, Atlanta also lead the way at the top of the BTTS charts on a whopping 79%. Visitors, Columbus Crew are only a few goals behind their opponents at the top of the goalscoring table but do have the third worse defence in the division and have played out six straight games with three or more goals, as well as seeing four of their last five away matches finish with both teams finding the net. With that being said, back a BTTS outcome and over 3.5 goals in the match.
New England Revolution v Chicago Fire – New England to win BTTS – 13/5
The second leg of our betting tip gets underway a few minutes later as New England Revolution take on Chicago Fire at 00:30. The Revolution have one of the best home records in the whole of the MLS this season, having yet to be beaten in their seven games at the Anderson Stadium and also winning their last three in a row as well. In addition to this, the hosts also thrashed the highest ranked side in the league, Toronto FC last week and have an imperious home record against Chicago, winning their last nine games in row against them. Bastian Schweinsteiger's new side having been playing well this season, though, and this might not be as cut and dry as the stats might suggest. However, home advantage is huge in the MLS considering some of the distances these sides have to travel and Chicago's only victory on the road in six attempts this year has come away to hapless DC United. Therefore, back NYR to win this match with both teams finding the net.
Toronto FC v DC United – Toronto FC to win and over 2.5 goals – 11/10
Our final fixture also starts only a matter of minutes later as the top and bottom sides in the Eastern Conference go head to head in Toronto with DC United heading to town at 01:00. The hosts have really hit the ground running this campaign and are deservedly the current favourites to lift the league title at the end of the year. Despite losing away to New England last time out, Toronto's home form has been terrific over the last couple of months and last season's runners-up have now won five in the trot at the BMO, with the most recent of which being the 5-0 pasting of Columbus Crew. Opponents DC United are having an absolute stinker up front this year and have only managed to find the net on ten occasions this season and only once in their last six games as well. Needless to say, with a goal record like that it's no surprise they are currently at the foot of the Eastern Conference. Based on all these facts, back Toronto to win this and over 2.5 goals in the match.
ACCUMULATOR ODDS – 16/1 with Sky Bet.
