Thursday, 18 October, 2012 - 13:00 to Sunday, 21 October, 2012 - 17:00

QPR play Everton in the late kick-off on Sunday, live in front of the Sky Sports camera's and with some added extra spice in the world of thatsagoal.com and Twitter.

aka: @thatsagoal vs @Andy_Hillman (and @SportingbetMark)

Best odds:

Home: 5/2 (Stan James)

Draw: 18/7 (Pinnacle)

Away: 5/4 (Bet365)

Hmm. Tricky one. As 2Pac once memorably misspelled, “All Eyez On Me”.

The Gaffer's alarm clock plays Z-Cars and he has a Bill Kenwright teddy bear that veers between having pins stuck in it and being lovingly caressed as he drifts off to sleep under his special edition 'Dogs of War' duvet cover with his thumb in his mouth (not strictly true honest)

One of our top writers Andy Hillman meanwhile, is the proud owner of a Spongebob Squarepants mascot resplendent in full Rs kit who he lovingly refers to as 'Adel'. Not to mention @SportingbetMark. Don't want to annoy him either. Lovely fella, and Hoops mad. Yes, as De La Soul once sagely, if grammatically incorrectly pointed out, Stakes Is High.

I am, therefore, going to be as even handed as I can here. No silly insults. No cheap shots. Just the raw facts, kid gloves, and sensible conclusions. So:

Everton have won two of their four away games this season, losing only to a cracking West Brom side and drawing with Wigan last time out. Away day scalps are Swansea and the Villa so far. Total scored eight, total conceded five. Everton have had an uncharacteristically great start to their season overall, finding themselves sitting pretty in fourth with fourteen points.

QPR have only played only three at home so far, losing to Swansea (0-5) and West Ham (1-2), and drawing an ugly derby fixture with all kinds of needle against Chelsea and Grand Wizard Terry (0-0). It's fair to say that QPR have been pathetic thus far, finding themselves rock bottom with two points from seven games. They have got shot of that horrible Joey Barton lad mind! Marseille are going well though aren't they? Hm. Oh, oh, hang on - that Esteban Granero looks a player! Probably be off in January though. Oh dear.

It will come as no surprise then that I am going to tip the Toffeemen to win this one, and neither will it shock you to learn that I am also going to tip Nikica “cash machine” Jelavic to find the net at some point. What may surprise you is a suggested winning margin bet however. Everton are missing tree-headed Old Trafford-bound midfield-maestro Fellaini (sorry Boss), and he has been immense by and large so far. They are also away from home, and that draw at the JJB hints at them settling into a more realistic league position over the coming weeks. QPR, whilst being utterly poop so far are, I believe, also in a slightly false position and they do have some decent players getting used to being a team. So, a little punt on Everton to win by one at 3/1 might well pay dividends.

QPR vs Everton Betting Tips

Everton to win at 5/4 (Bet365)

Jelavic to score any time at 6/4 (Bwin)

Everton to win by one goal at 3/1 (188Bet)
