Fulham welcome city neighbours Crystal Palace to Craven Cottage this weekend, in what is set to be an exciting match-up. Fulham are on a decent run, but are fifteenth in the league. Palace are having a good season and find themselves in fifth.
Fulham come into this one off the back of a 4-5 defeat to Man City, and won three of their four league matches previous to that. They’ve won five league matches this season.
Palace have won six of 14 league outings and find themselves in a very strong league position. They’re just one point behind Chelsea in fourth, and will be keen to keep the pressure on and sneak into that top four.

Despite their league position and a defeat last time out, I’m backing Fulham to overcome Crystal Palace this Sunday. They were 1-5 down to City in their last game, and showed great character to bring it back to 4-5 (and almost equalised!). Before that, they won three of four, so it’s their best run of this campaign so far. Palace won last time out, but it’s their only win in three. Fulham have lost only two of their seven home matches this season, so are pretty good in front of their home crowd. At 8/5, I think they’re excellent odds for the win here.
Both teams to score (4/5)
4/5 is also really good odds for both sides to get themselves on the scoresheet. Including that nine goal thriller with Man City, both teams have been on target in six of Fulham’s last 10 matches in all competitions. They have scored 19 and conceded 22 in the league so far this season. For Palace, they have scored 18 and conceded 11, giving them the second best defensive record in the league. Both teams have scored in five of their last 10 league matches. I think this one will be end-to-end, and after Fulham bagged four at home to City, I think they’ll bag at least a couple against Palace here, conceding a minimum of one in the process.
Harry Wilson over 0.5 shots on target (8/11)
Harry Wilson has three league goals to his name so far this season, in 13 appearances for Fulham. In that time, he has had 25 shots with six of them being on target. He scored five in five appearances for Wales throughout their World Cup qualification campaign. I think Fulham will create plenty of chances here, and Wilson is good odds at 8/11 to have one or more shots on target, an average of more than one foul per game. Coming up against the likes of Bowen, who has had 26 fouls against him so far this season, I expect Baleba to make at least a couple of fouls. He’s good odds to pick up her fifth league booking of the season.
