Spurs are heading to Paris to take on French giants PSG in the fifth fixture of this Champions League campaign. PSG have won three of their four Champions League matches, with Spurs winning two of four. PSG are fifth and Spurs in 10th.
PSG are having a fantastic season at the top of Ligue 1, with nine wins, three draws and just one defeat in 13. They’re two points ahead of Marseille in second.
Spurs come into this one in poor form, with just one win in five in all competitions. They’re ninth in the Premier League with five wins from 12, drawing three and losing four.
PSG vs Tottenham Bet Builder Tip
PSG vs Tottenham Bet Builder Predictions
- PSG to win (2/5)
- Gonçalo Ramos to score (11/8)
- Cristian Romero over 1.5 fouls (11/10)
- Kolo Muani over 1.5 fouls (11/10)
PSG vs Tottenham Prediction: PSG to win (2/5)
I think PSG will have too much for Spurs in this one, especially at home. PSG have won six of their last 10 in all competitions, with three draws and one defeat in that time. Spurs are in poor form, with just three wins in their last 10 in all competitions. Their only win in their last five matches came against Copenhagen in the Champions League, a 4-0 victory at home. PSG are joint highest scorers in the Champions League with 14 goals, and I think they’ll have too much in attack for Spurs here, and they’ll win fairly comfortably.
BEST BET BUILDER TIP – Gonçalo Ramos to score @ 11/8
I’m backing PSG forward Gonçalo Ramos to get on the scoresheet here. The Portuguese frontman has scored five goals in all competitions for PSG this season, with most of his success coming in the Champions League, with two goals in three appearances, and two in 13 in the league. PSG will create a lot of chances here against a Spurs side who have conceded six goals in two games, and Ramos could get on the end of at least one of them, adding to his decent tally in this competition.
ALTERNATIVE BET – Gonçalo Ramos over 0.5 shots on target @ 2/9
If you fancy something with more of a chance, and much lesser odds, it’s 2/9 for Ramos to have one or more shot on target. He has had 13 shots on target in 13 league matches, with four in three in the Champions League, giving him an average of more than one per game.
Cristian Romero over 1.5 fouls (11/10)
Cristian Romero never backs out of a tackle. He’s a very aggressive defender, and he has been carded five times already in the Premier League this season, in 10 appearances. He’s yet to be carded in the Champions League, making one foul in two games. However, in the league, he has made 12 fouls, an average of more than one per game. I expect this one to be a battle, and against a strong PSG front line, I think Romero is good odds to make over 1.5 fouls here.
Kolo Muani over 1.5 fouls (11/10)
Spurs striker Kolo Muani is another player who doesn’t shy away from a foul or two. He has only featured in five Prem matches for Spurs this season, but he has played three times in the Champions League, picking up two yellow cards in those games. He has made nine fouls in nine matches in all competitions, giving him an average of one per game. Add into the mix that PSG are his parent club, as he is on loan at Spurs from the Parisian giants, there will be that extra bite from him. I think he’s good odds to make a couple of fouls as he looks to impress on the big stage.
