Both Liverpool and Spurs haven’t been great of late and I can’t call a winner. What I am prediction though, is both teams to be on the scoresheet. Liverpool will want to try and narrow the gap at the top of the table, despite their chances of overcoming the gap between them and Arsenal being very slim. For Spurs, they still have a chance of top four, albeit they are relying on Villa slipping up in their remaining games. Liverpool have scored in seven of their last 10 matches in all competitions, while Spurs have notched in seven of their last 10 as well. Last time out between these two ended 2-1 to the Lily Whites, and I’m backing both teams to score again here.

 

Rodrigo Bentancur to be booked

Rodrigo Bentancur isn’t a constant for Ange Postecoglu’s side, but he has played 19 times in the league this season, and likes to put himself about in the middle of the park. In those 19 league appearances he has been carded on six occasions, making 15 fouls in the process, an average just under one foul per game. It’ll be a real midfield battle this one, and I’m backing him to pick up his seventh yellow card of the season.

 

Wataru Endo to be booked

Wataru Endo has been excellent for Liverpool since he joined from Stuttgart last year. The 31-year-old has played 26 times for Jurgen Klopp’s side in the league this season, and in that time he has picked up nine yellow cards. His physical style or play does suit the Reds, but he does foul often, making 42 fouls in those 26 league appearances, an average of well over 1.5 per game.
