Spurs to win

Spurs are unbeaten in three of their last four Premier League fixtures, and I’m backing Antonio Conte’s side to win in this one against Aston Villa. They have won nine of their 16 league fixtures this season, drawing three and losing four. They currently sit in fourth place, 10 points behind the league leaders and in a position many would expect them to be in at this stage of the season. They are one of the higher scorers in the league with a very respectable 33 goals so far, conceding 23 in the process. I think they’ll create a lot of chances in this one and think they’ll have enough to defeat a Villa side who currently sit in 12^th place and lost 1-3 last time out against Liverpool.

 

Harry Kane to score

We all know that Harry Kane is a born goalscorer who has been banging them in for Spurs for years, and this season is no different. The England captain has not long returned from the World Cup in Qatar, where his penalty miss sealed The Three Lions fate as they exited the tournament at the quarter-final stage. However, he did bag two goals at the World Cup and has had a decent goals return in the Premier League so far this season, with 13 in 16  games for Spurs. He averages 3.66 shots per game with 1.80 being on target, and I expect him to bury at least one of his chances in this one.

 

Douglas Luiz to be booked

Douglas Luiz will be thinking himself lucky to have only picked up one booking in the Premier League so far this season. The Brazilian midfielder has fouled 18 teams this season, which is an average of 1.54 per game and would usually warrant more than one yellow card across half a season. He will be in for a difficult afternoon against a physical Spurs midfield and I think he will be forced into making a couple of fouls and think taking him to be carded adds excellent value to this bet builder.
