There’s a good midweek fixture card in the Premier League this week. On Tuesday evening, Newcastle travel to face Tottenham Hotspur in North London and our football tipster has picked a 17/2 bet builder for the match.

Newcastle lost last time out – a 3-2 defeat to Brentford. They have won only three of their last 10 in the league, and find themselves in 12th place.

Both teams to score appears to be a good bet here. Both teams are struggling, but there have been plenty of goals scored for and against them. In their last 10, Spurs have scored in eight and conceded in seven, with both teams scoring in six. For Newcastle, they have scored in seven of their last 10, conceding in eight, and both teams have scored six. In the last 10 meetings between these two, both teams have scored on eight occasions. Harvey Barnes over 0.5 shots on target (16/25)
I think Harvey Barnes is good odds to have one or more shots on target on Tuesday evening. It might be too soon for his teammate, Anthony Gordon, to come back into the starting lineup after he was forced off in the Carabao Cup last week and missed Saturday’s game, so Barnes should start. He has scored 12 goals this season, with five in the league, five in the Champions League and two in the FA Cup. He had three shots last time out against Brentford, which shows his threat. None were on target on that occasion, but I think he could add to his tally of 15 shots on target in the league on Tuesday.
Dominic Solanke over 0.5 shots on target (11/20)
Dominic Solanke has been sidelined for much of this season, but has been back in the squad since early January. He has scored three in his last five appearances, two in the Champions League (one against Dortmund, one against Eintracht Frankfurt) and a double against Man City in a 2-2 draw on the first of this month. He has had four shots on target in six Premier League appearances this season, with two in two in the Champions League. There will be chances for both teams here, and I think he will have a shot on target.
ALTERNATIVE BET – Dominic Solanke to score @ 15/8
15/8 is decent odds for Solanke to score, taking this bet builder to 14/1 with Bet365. With three goals in five, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him net again in this fixture.
Bruno Guimaraes to be booked (9/4)
Newcastle’s Bruno Guimaraes is the man I’m backing to pick up a booking in this one. The midfielder has been carded seven times in all competitions this season, with four in the Premier League and one in each of the Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup. He has made 31 fouls in his 22 Premier League appearances this season, and I think he will make a few here. 9/4 is good odds for him to pick up his eighth card of the season against Spurs.
