Michael Carrick’s Manchester United head to face West Ham on Tuesday night, on the hunt for their fifth win on the bounce, something they haven’t done since 2023.
The hosts, West Ham, are in a relegation battle and currently occupy 18th in the Premier League, three points behind Nottingham Forest and three adrift from safety.
United are having a decent season and currently find themselves in fourth, one point above fifth-placed Chelsea, and three behind Villa in third.

Wins over City, Arsenal, Fulham and Spurs have been very impressive, and as they come up against a West Ham side who are in the relegation zone (albeit they have won three of four), I think they will come out on top.

United striker Benjamin Sesko has six goals to his name in all competitions this season, with five in the Premier League and one in the FA Cup. In his 20 league appearances, he has had 42 shots with 22 of them being on target, an average of more than one per game. United should have most of the ball here and will create chances. I think Sesko should manage at least one shot on target.

Of those 58, 16 of them have been on target. As I said, United will have chances, and I think 4/6 is good odds for this selection. He will be on free-kicks, and I wouldn’t bet against him having a shot on target should he have an opportunity with a set piece from range.

Valentin Castellanos to be booked (10/3)
West Ham forward Valentin Castellanos is at good odds to pick up a booking at 10/3. Since joining the Hammers from Lazio in January, he has been carded three times in six appearances, twice in the Premier League and once in the FA Cup. He has certainly been keen to impress since coming to the Prem, and has fouled 10 times in his five appearances so far. He is likely to make a couple of fouls here, and there’s a good chance that he will pick up another card.
