14/1 Saturday Accumulator Tip – Barnsley & Peterborough to Help Land this Acca

With no Premier League or Championship matches this weekend due to the Nations League, I’ve taken a look at the lower tiers of English football where I’ve picked out a 14/1 fivefold with Bet365.

I’m favouring five home sides to pick up all three points on Saturday afternoon, with two selections coming from League One, two from League Two and one from the English National League. I’ll be surprised if this doesn’t go very close.

Barnsley to beat Charlton – 5/4

My first selection is the best value selection from my picks on Saturday. Barnsley come in to this one unbeaten in their last four league outings, which included them picking up all three points away at Sheffield Wednesday and picking up a point at current table toppers Ipswich Town.

They brushed aside Cambridge United in their last league match, even though they went down to 10 men when the score line was just 1-0

Charlton come in to this winless in their last five, although have remained competitive by drawing four of those.

I do expect the home side to have too much for The Addicks in this one though, and I think their strike force of Devante Cole and James Norwood will prove deadly once more.

 

Peterborough to beat Port Vale – 17/20

Peterborough are surprisingly on a four match losing streak, so this selection does come with caution. However, they were one of the pre-season favourites to gain promotion this term and I think they’ll end their losing run by brushing aside Port Vale.

Vale are unbeaten in their last three league games so will come into this one with plenty of confidence however, if Peterborough are to be promoted next May, they simply have to be winning home games of this nature.

I think The Posh will get back to winning ways on Saturday.

 

Bradford to beat AFC Wimbledon – 3/4

Bradford are my bet of the day in League Two on Saturday and I think their current price is value.

They come into this one on a three match winning streak in the league and are also unbeaten in their last five league outings. In contrasting style, AFC Wimbledon have lost their last four league games and arrive in terrible form.

That all points to nothing but a home win in this one.

 

Stevenage to beat Harrogate Town – 8/13

Similarly to my last selection, an in-form side faces an out of form one here and I’m backing Stevenage to beat Harrogate on their home patch.

Stevenage have had a great start to the season, currently sitting in fourth place, and have won two of their last three league games.

Harrogate on the other hand are somewhat struggling, sitting in 18^th position and are winless in their last five league matches.

Again, another selection where I’ll be very surprised if the home team doesn’t take all three points.

 

Wrexham to beat Torquay – 1/4

My last selection sees us head to North Wales where Wrexham take on Torquay in the National League.

Now as you can see by the odds, it would be a major upset should the home side not win here. They provide no value as a single of course, but are a leverage selection as I just can’t see them not emerging victorious from this clash.

Wrexham are strongly fancied for promotion back to the Football League this term and are proving ruthless at home, unbeaten in their first five games at The Racecourse. I expect them to make it a perfect six out of six on Saturday afternoon.
