Birmingham vs Wigan both teams to score

Following a decent sequence of form this month, Birmingham have confirmed their Championship status for next season and they will hope to stay unbeaten during April. The Blues have also netted in all six of their previous matches ahead of this visit of a Wigan outfit just behind the hosts in the league table. Having also scored in each of their five fixtures this month, which includes a surprise 2-1 victory at Leeds, the Latics will visit the Midlands in confident mood.

Burton vs Luton both teams to score

A very late equaliser netted by AFC Wimbledon in a 2-2 midweek draw prevented Luton from virtually sealing promotion into the Championship. However, the Hatters have failed to find the net just once since late January and will aim to claim three points at Burton where the hosts were beaten by Portsmouth in their last home fixture. Yet the Brewers are a capable team in front of goal having netted in their last nine league games but with just one clean sheet registered this month.

Sunderland vs Portsmouth both teams to score

Both teams have scored in the last couple of encounters between these two outfits challenging for automatic promotion from League One. The Black Cats have also responded to a 5-4 home defeat by Coventry earlier this month by claiming four points from two games, and they have failed to net in just one league game this season. Visitors Portsmouth have won their last seven matches with at least two goals scored per contest. Pompey also netted twice against Coventry on Monday without producing their best form.

Mansfield vs Stevenage  both teams to score

A 3-2 loss at Oldham on Easter Monday dented the automatic promotion ambitions of Mansfield but they now return to Field Mill where they have lost just once in eight outings and where they have netted in each of those fixtures. The Stags now host a Stevenage outfit still hoping to claim a League Two promotion playoff berth and unbeaten to date this month. Having found the net in each of their latest six unbeaten games on the road, including a late 2-2 draw at Lincoln, Stevenage will prove difficult opponents for Mansfield.
