Saturday’s Both Teams to Score Predictions

Charlton return to the Championship flowing their dramatic promotion playoff final victory against Sunderland. The Addicks were always capable of scoring goals and travel to face a Blackburn outfit containing several decent strikers. That clash features in this Saturday BTTS four-fold accumulator alongside Lincoln’s opening games in League One and Exeter hosting Sol Campbell’s Macclesfield. The final selection involves Solihull visiting a Harrogate team often involved in high-scoring matches.

Blackburn vs Charlton – BTTS

Following their promotion from League One, Blackburn finished a creditable fifteenth in the Championship last season and netted in all but one their final ten matches. Having retained the services of their leading strikers for this coming campaign, including Bradley Dack, Rovers will be seeking to move further up the table but face a resolute Charlton team in their opening game. The Addicks failed to find the net in just four League One matches from the beginning of November onwards with seven wins earned from eight contests during the final days of the regular season.

Lincoln vs Accrington Stanley – BTTS.

Having lost just one of their final five League One away games last season, when netting in each of those matches, Accrington Stanley will be seeking to deny Lincoln at Sincil Bank following their promotion last term. Although the Imps stumbled in their final four contests, they had netted in all prior League Two games from early November but they were involved in five score draws on home soil during the later months of the campaign.

Exeter vs Macclesfield – BTTS

The appointment of Sol Campbell as manager during November last season raised a few eyebrows at Macclesfield, but he eventually steered the club away from the relegation zone with results which included a 1-1 draw at Lincoln. Seven score draws were earned by the Silkmen from mid-February onwards, and they now travel to Exeter with the home team failing to net on just one occasion from early March. However, the Grecians were involved in 1-4,2-3 and 1-3 defeats during that sequence.

Harrogate vs Solihull – BTTS

The arrival of Jon Stead will have boosted the strike force at Harrogate and his new team were involved in some high-scoring games last season. An improvement on their sixth-place finish from last term will be the aim of the Yorkshire outfit but they face a difficult opener when hosting Solihull. As the Moors have also improved their attack with the acquisition of Paul McCallum from Eastleigh, expect more goals from Solihull especially after they failed to net in just two away matches from the beginning of January.
