Diego Costa: Still the Chelsea striker we all love to hate?

Diego Costa: Still the one we love to hate?

Diego Costa. You either love the Brazilian-born Spanish international for his constant ferocity and shows of pure determination inside the final third, or you've seemingly had enough of the 27-year-old striker’s often transgressive attitude in and amongst opposing defenders – and would potentially even like to see the controversial front-man kicked out of the Premier League for good!

Although the 2016/17 domestic campaign is only two games old at this particular stage in the proceedings, Diego Costa has so far popped up with two crucial winners for the Blues to earn Antonio Conte’s new side six strong points among the English top-flight, whilst also faring somewhat lucky to have not been sent-off on two separate occasions against West Ham United and Watford respectively.

Whilst many Stamford Bridge goers seemingly have a great deal of admiration for Diego Costa right about now…

…others can’t quite believe just how he’s gotten away with a series of questionable antics already this season…

The striker in question will probably continue to polarize Premier League fans for a good while yet to come…

…and although Diego Costa has certainly portrayed himself as something of a cheat and a so-called ‘nasty piece of work’ during his current spell at Stamford Bridge…

…his impact out on the pitch for Chelsea has already been hugely influential, even if he did admittedly fail to set the league alight throughout the course of last season…

Yet whilst many Blues supporters think their striker has what it takes to end the current season with some rather creditable figures to his name…

…most Watford fans arguably view Diego Costa as little more than a stubborn stain upon the often flawed fabric of Premier League football at the moment!
