Does Louis van Gaal deserve another season at Manchester United?
With 99.9% of the Old Trafford faithful seemingly against the idea of offering Louis van Gaal one more season at Manchester United to honestly prove his worth once and for all, and former Chelsea favourite – Jose Mourinho – largely expected to step in and claim his place among the Red Devils dug-out ahead of the 2016/17 domestic campaign, it certainly remains somewhat hard to imagine the enigmatic Dutchman maintaining his current role among the English top-flight for much longer.
The results down at Old Trafford have been adequate at best throughout the vast portion of the current season, the players have largely failed to impress for the most part despite Manchester United successfully earning an illustrious place in the F.A. Cup final in recent weeks, and as for the level of performance and entertainment value achieved by the Red Devils in 2015/16 – well, perhaps the least said about that, the better…
