Croatia vs Armenia: Both Teams to Score

Croatia open their Euro 2020 campaign with arguably their most important game of the group – against England on June 13th. The World Cup semi-finalists have had mixed results since Russia 2018 including poor Nations League campaigns and just four wins in 11 matches. They should beat Armenia comfortably tonight, however, we have to take into account rotation as managers will be looking to make final adjustments to their proposed starting line-ups for the Euros. Armenia have won their last five matches coming into this one, including World Cup qualifying wins over Iceland, Romania, and Liechtenstein, so will not be pushovers here. They’ve scored in their last 10 matches and that could continue tonight, so back both teams to score in this one.  

Slovakia vs Bulgaria: Slovakia to win

Slovakia will take their chance at Euro 2020 in Group E alongside Spain, Sweden and Poland and they’re another side who will be looking to sneak into the next round. At Euro 2020 they held England to a 0-0 draw and beat Russia and they also beat Russia last time out, in their World Cup qualifying match for Qatar. They’ve only lost once in their last six matches which included the play-off win against Northern Ireland. Bulgaria are on a dreadful run of form and their only win in their last 12 matches has come against Gibraltar. They’ve failed to score in three of their last four matches as well, so Slovakia should be good enough to get a morale boosting win tonight.  

North Macedonia vs Slovenia: North Macedonia to win

Making their debut at a major tournament are rank outsiders in the Euro 2020 betting odds, North Macedonia. The hosts have won six of their last seven home matches including a 5-0 win over Liechtenstein and 2-1 win over Kosovo. They are going into Euro 2020 in decent form but have a tough group that includes the Netherlands, Ukraine and Austria. Don’t be surprised if they pick up a point or two though. Slovenia missed out on the Euros from the same group as North Macedonia. They lost three of their last four matches in the group, including against tonight’s opponents. Going into this game they’ve lost their last two and so we’re backing the hosts to edge.  

Poland vs Russia: Both Teams to Score

Both of these nations will take their place at Euro 2020 and once again all eyes will be on how Robert Lewandowski performs. The Poles will fancy their chances of getting out of Group E where Sweden, Slovakia and Spain await. Russia are in Group B alongside Denmark, Finland and Belgium. Poland lost 2-1 to England last time out and have only won one of their last five matches now. They have scored in their last four though including three against Hungary and three against Andorra. Russia had a great World Cup on home soil and started World Cuo 2022 qualifying well, winning their first two matches before losing 2-1 in Slovakia last time out. Both teams have scored in four of their last five matches and that is how we expect tonight’s game to go too.
