Reasons for this Weekend’s Football Betting Tips

Genoa vs Cagliari Betting Tip – Genoa win.

Relegation from Serie A remains a serious concern for Genoa and they are winless in eight matches since beating Juventus 2-0 on home soil back in mid-March. However, all three home defeats for the Genoese team during 2019 have been suffered against teams in the current top seven of the league table, and they now host a Cagliari outfit which has beaten only relegated Chievo on away soil this year. The Sardinian team have lost seven of their last nine away matches and are facing another loss.

Udinese vs SPAL Betting Tip – Udinese win.

Having secured their top flight status for another season following an impressive series of results from mid-March to early May, there may be a temptation for SPAL to relax during the final two games of the campaign. Although they have scored four times in winning each of their last two away games against struggling teams, SPAL now face Udinese with the hosts unbeaten on home turf in seven outings and still needing points to remain in Serie A. Udinese could win a fifth home match since late February.

Schalke vs Stuttgart – Schalke win.

Ahead of their final match of the regular German Bundesliga campaign, Stuttgart have avoided automatic relegation, but they will be contesting the two-legged playoff tie following this match the Veltins-Arena. Die Roten have also earned just one point on the road since late November and will regard the playoff matches as more important than this game against Schalke. The hosts have experienced a very difficult season by their normal high standards but they are unbeaten in three fixtures and should be capable of finishing their campaign by collecting three points.

Fortuna Dusseldorf vs Hannover Betting Tip – Fortuna Dusseldorf win.

Despite beating Freiburg 3-0 on home soil last weekend, relegation from the Bundesliga was confirmed for Hannover, and just one away point earned this year has not helped their predicament at the foot of the table. A visit to Fortuna Dusseldorf now awaits with the hosts enjoying a decent return to top flight action this term with six home victories collected since the beginning of December, including the defeat of both Borussia teams. Another home win is predicted for Fortuna.

Getafe vs Villarreal Betting Tip – Getafe win.

Champions League football remains a possibility next season for Getafe with just one game to play in the current Spanish La Liga campaign. The Madrid based outfit have lost just twice on home soil this year with no goals conceded in their last four matches at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, Villarreal will be visit the venue on Saturday and although the team is now safe from relegation fears, they have been plagued by inconsistency for much of the season. Nicknamed the Yellow Submarine, Villarreal could be facing a fifth defeat in seven competitive outings on their travels.
