Championship promotion play-off and relegation points are at stake when Derby host Bolton this weekend and this game has been selected for the Saturday accumulator tip alongside fixtures at Portsmouth and Lincoln where the hosts are seeking automatic promotion. AFC Fylde are also seeking to progress into League Two and their match at Braintree is covered with the final selection involving Morecambe entertaining out-of-form Grimsby.
Derby to beat Bolton
Portsmouth to beat Rochdale
Lincoln to beat Cheltenham
Morecambe to beat Grimsby
AFC Fylde to beat Braintree
Problems persist both on and off the field for Bolton and a 2-0 midweek home defeat by Middlesbrough ensured that relegation from the Championship is now becoming a probability. The Trotters have now lost four of their last five matches with a win against troubled QPR sandwiched in between. Hosts Derby were hoping to extend a five-match unbeaten sequence on Tuesday evening when visiting Blackburn but they slumped to a 2-0 defeat with no league wins registered on the road this year. However, the Rams have lost just once on home turf from late November onwards and they should seal all three points.
As the League One campaign nears its finale, Portsmouth appear to be gathering momentum with at least two goals netted in four successive victories and they also gained confidence from winning the EFL Trophy via a penalty shoot-out. Pompey are also unbeaten on home soil since mid-January and host a Rochdale outfit involved in a multi-team battle to avoid relegation. The Dale have lost only once in six matches, but they have been beaten by Sunderland, Luton and Barnsley this year and are likely to lose at Fratton Park.
After claiming a 2-0 victory at MK Dons last weekend, Lincoln could seal promotion from League Two by beating Cheltenham on Saturday. The Imps are unbeaten in league action this year and have won five of their seven fixtures since the beginning of March. Visitors Cheltenham are earning the reputation as a decent home team but their form on the road has been rather poor in recent months. A 3-1 win at Crewe earlier this month ended a six-game losing sequence on their travels but the hosts were reduced to ten players early in the second period with the scores level. Lincoln are the likely winners.
The threat of relegation from League Two has been persistent for Morecambe throughout much of the current campaign, but just one defeat in six games and three successive home victories have considerably eased those fears. Forest Green Rovers and MK Dons were both beaten at the Globe Arena last month and Grimsby arrive at the venue having failed to win any of their last eight league games. Losing their last three matches on the road with at least two goals conceded suggests that another defeat is looming.

A 1-0 midweek win at Gateshead allowed Fylde to maintain their slender hopes of securing automatic promotion from the National League, but having lost just once since mid-February, the Lancashire outfit are becoming a difficult team to beat. Relegation has already been confirmed for hosts Braintree and although they have lost six of their last eight matches, the Iron are capable of earning surprise victories as when beating both Sutton and Gateshead last month. However, Fylde are seeking a third consecutive win and they should achieve that target.
