Reasons for this Weekend’s Football Tips

Hull City have been plummeting down the Championship league table in recent weeks and now visit useful home team Stoke this weekend. The Cobblers claimed three victories during a mixed February but the manner of their 3-0 win at Grimsby last weekend was impressive. A fifth home win this year is predicted for Northampton.

 

Swindon vs Forest Green Rovers Betting Tip – Swindon win.

At one stage this season, Forest Green Rovers were considered as candidates for promotion from League Two. However, just two league victories earned since the beginning of December has dented those hopes and a winless sequence of eight league matches is not a good omen ahead of visiting league leaders Swindon. The Robins have lost just two league games this year and have won five consecutive fixtures at the County Ground with at least two goals scored per outing. A fourth successive win in league action is tipped for Swindon.

 

Hartlepool vs Ebbsfleet Betting Tip – Hartlepool win.

A 1-0 win earned at Solihull on Tuesday evening ensured that Hartlepool are serious contenders to feature in the end-of-season National League promotion playoffs, and they have won four of their last six fixtures. The last visiting team to win at Victoria Park was Harrogate on New Year’s Day, and Ebbsfleet have won only one league game on the road since the beginning of November when recently claiming three points at fellow strugglers Maidenhead. The inconsistent Fleet are likely to lose at improving Hartlepool.
