Friday Night Betting Tips

Charlton vs Doncaster Betting Tips – Charlton Win

We begin our Friday night betting tips with a trip to the Valley. Charlton are holding onto a 2-1 lead coming into this second leg, and they will be keen to extend that advantage, and book their place at Wembley. The Addicks’ home form has been wonderful this campaign, and Lee Bowyer’s side remain undefeated in League One since early-October.

Donny have enjoyed a tremendous season under Grant McCann, but their away form is a concern. They’ve won just once on the road in 2019, and they showed brief signs of vulnerabilities at the back in the first leg.

Although the men from South Yorkshire won here in the FA Cup, they were easily beaten in League One when the sides met in November.

Charlton have so much firepower in the squad, and they are extremely well-organised at the back. Although we’ve seen a couple of shocks in the play-offs already, this game appears to be one of the more straightforward-looking ties left to play.

Lee Bowyer and Johnny Jackson have been superb since taking charge, and with many fans returning to the Valley for this clash, there should be a bumper crowd here. Charlton Win is the first of our Friday night betting tips, and they are 88/100 with William Hill.

Braga vs Portimonense Betting Tip – Over 2.5 Goals

We’re off to Portugal for our second betting tip with Braga hosting Portimonense in the sole Friday night fixture from Liga NOS.

This is the final round of fixtures in the division, and the visitors are perfectly safe, deeply entrenched in mid-table. With nothing to play for, it has led to some high-scoring games, and they arrive here off the back of a 3-2 victory against Maritimo.

Away from home, 56% of their games have featured three or more goals, and they’ve only failed to score on four occasions on their travels. Guimaraes are only side that have kept them off the score-sheet since November 9th, and they are likely to find the net here.

Their defence continues to play havoc, and they recently conceded five goals at Benfica. Although that was a slightly tougher game, Braga will be a tough nut to crack.

Braga have lost each of their last three games, but they are twelve points clear of fifth place, and they can no longer catch Sporting in third.

They’ve conceded nine goals in three games, but they are always likely to find the back of the net, particularly at home. They’ve only failed to score once in front of their own fans, and they will be keen to sign off with a victory.

Three of the last four meetings between these sides have ended with three or more goals, and this end-of-season contest could go the same way. Over 2.5 Goals is the second of our betting tips, and it’s 8/13 with William Hill.

St.Patricks vs Bohemians – Bohemians Draw No Bet

After a decent start to the season, St.Pats’ form has dropped off in recent weeks. The hosts beat lowly UCD, but have netted just once in their last three matches.

Their heavy 3-0 defeat at home to Waterford was particularly concerning, especially considering that they barely registered a shot-on-target. Last week, they did pick up a point at Derry, which is a step in the right direction, but they were out-shot in that contest.

With a lack of goals (just seven at home), they could struggle to break down a stubborn Bohs side.

The visitors have lost back-to-back games, but they were against high-flying Dundalk, and an ever-improving Cork City. They’ve conceded in just three of their last ten matches, and have already beaten Shamrock, Derry and Sligo on the road this campaign.

There’s been very little between these sides in recent meetings with each of the last three fixtures ending 1-0 to either team. It’s 4/9 for Under 2.5 Goals in this one, and that may be ideal for an accumulator, but we’re going for Bohs to get something from this game.

Bohemians Draw No Bet is the third of our betting tips for Friday night, and it’s Evens with William Hill.
