Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have certainly taken to their newfound 2016/17 duties with a whole lot of vigour and panache so far this season. The Reds currently sit top of the Premier League table with 26 points taken off 11 fixtures, and whilst anything can still take place at Anfield between now and the end of term, Liverpool certainly represent the team to beat right in the here and now.
Much of Liverpool’s recent success has surrounded the exploits of 24-year-old Brazilian international, Philippe Coutinho. The former Inter Milan attacker has subsequently witnessed a great deal of transfer speculation circle above his head of late, especially with none other than Barcelona themselves reportedly interested in landing the South American star in the not too distant future.

Although Coutinho would arguably represent an ideal fit for the formidable La Liga giants…
Coutinho would be perfect for Barça given the chemistry with Suarez and Neymar.

…the vast majority of Reds fans are obviously deeply opposed to seeing their star man leave for the bright lights of the Spanish game…
The Express say Barcelona want Coutinho for £65m. How much for the other leg? ????

…especially after being forced to part ways with a certain Luis Suarez just a short matter of seasons ago…
Seeing Coutinho & Suarez in a Barcelona shirt together would be the end of me, sick of seeing our star players go to Real/Barca all the time

Barcelona legend, Xavi, is seemingly keen on seeing Coutinho make the switch to the Camp Nou…
Xavi on Coutinho: "There are not many players that can improve Barcelona, but if you are asking me if he can, on this form, I think he can."

…but once again, this is something most Liverpool fans can’t even begin to entertain at the moment…

Yet whilst Liverpool could theoretically keep their hands on the Brazilian international…
I hope Barcelona let us keep Coutinho for the rest of the season at least????

…maybe it’s only a matter of time before Philippe Coutinho is tempted to ply his trade elsewhere…
You should just accept already that Coutinho is going to end up at Real Madrid or Barcelona in a couple of years, max.
