Monday’s Accumulator Tips – Back These 3 Predictions for a 7/1 English Treble

Football accumulator tips

While it might be the Premier League’s relegation scrap that will steal most of the headlines on Monday, there are a string of crucial battles from across England’s football tiers.

With a bumper Bank Holiday schedule on the cards, we have found a trio of helpful tips that can offer a great return for your Monday accumulator.

12:30 Salford vs Gillingham (League Two)

Really finding top gear at a crucial time and now sat firmly in pole position to book a maiden League Two play-off spot, Salford will be looking to finish off the job on Monday lunchtime. Knowing that just a single point on home soil will be enough to officially clinch a top-seven finish, Neil Wood’s side are enjoying what has been a real flurry over the past few weeks. Now claiming back-to-back 3-2 victories against Carlisle and Walsall respectively, the Ammies have also won each of their last three League Two appearances. Picking up a 3-0 romp when they made the trip to Gillingham for their reverse fourth-tier meeting on December 3rd, Salford will be desperate to produce a repeat display here.

Eventually breezing their way to League Two safety with plenty of time to spare, Gillingham will simply be looking to upset Salford’s play-off party on Monday lunchtime. However, last seen getting hit with a 2-1 loss at home against Newport, the Kent-based outfit have secured just a single victory from their last five appearances. Putting just a single point on their board from any of their previous four contests on the road, Neil Harris’ side should face a tough trip to Manchester here.

Betting Tip: Salford win & Over 1.5 goals @ 19/20

15:00 Huddersfield vs Reading (Championship)

Confirming their Championship status last time out thanks to another eye-catching performance, it is hard to understate just how much of an impressive job Neil Warnock has done since returning to Huddersfield. Coming off the back of a 1-0 victory at home against Premier League returners Sheffield United, the veteran boss has only continued to receive a string of plaudits from across the Championship. Along with recording back-to-back second-tier wins, the Terriers have remarkably lost just one of their last nine appearances. With their rampant purple patch highlighted by a 4-2 romp against Middlesbrough on April 1st, Warnock’s high-flying squad will be looking to sign off their Championship campaign with another flurry in Yorkshire.

While Huddersfield might have clung to their Championship status, Reading have already accepted that they will be playing third-tier football next season. Only continuing to deal with a string of issues both on and off the pitch, the Royals are also without a single win from any of their last 12 straight second-tier appearances. Likewise, failing to claim a sole win outside of Berkshire since way back on November 12th, Reading couldn’t have asked for a tougher challenge when signing off their nightmare Championship campaign on Monday afternoon.

Betting Tip: Huddersfield win @ 1/1

20:00 Nottingham Forest vs Southampton (Premier League)

Suffering last-gasp heartbreak away at Brentford when signing off April, Nottingham Forest face what is a do-or-die showdown on Monday night. With Steve Cooper still facing a huge amount of scrutiny, the ex-Swansea boss finds his side sat in the drop zone and tipped as a leading contender to be hit with an immediate Championship return. However, smelling what is a golden chance when they return to the City Ground, Forest should at least be excited by their rugged displays on home soil. Last seen in front of their own supporters claiming a stellar 3-1 romp against European contenders Brighton, Cooper’s men have lost just a pair of their last seven Premier League appearances at the City Ground.

While Southampton might still mathematically be in the fight to extend on their Premier League status, Monday’s guests are in need of a real miracle. Last seen eventually getting hit with a 3-1 defeat away at Newcastle, the Saints are in the midst of an extended nine-match winless run. Likewise, collecting just a single point from any of their last six Premier League appearances, Southampton appear to be free-falling out of England’s top-flight. It should also be noted, when the Saints welcomed Forest to St. Mary’s on January 4th, they suffered a 1-0 loss.

Betting Tip: Nottingham Forest win @ 11/10
