Life between the sticks can often prove something of a topsy-turvy affair for most top-flight Premier League goalies, especially when a series of poor goal-keeping errors suddenly serve to transform your once favourable reputation into something far more precarious.
Adrian San Miguel del Castillo – West Ham’s current first-choice keeper in the modern era – has subsequently endured something of a torrid time in front of the Hammers faithful of late, resulting most recently in a truly calamitous performance last time out against Mark Hughes’ Stoke City.
Some West Ham fans now believe that Adrian should be dropped in favour of ex-Birmingham City shot-stopper, Darren Randolph…
Just seen Adrian's mistake on MOTD and it's as bad as I thought at the game.Time to give Randolph an extended run in the team I think

…considering Adrian’s dangerously poor form in recent outings…
Adrian needs to be dropped, costing us points because of stupid mistakes and lack of communication

…perhaps Slaven Bilic ought to call on his back-up keeper after all…
Randolph has been brilliant when given game time at West Ham,He has been excellent with Ireland. Adrian is a hazard who couldnt catch a cold

Adrian's high profile mistake against the Potters directly aided Stoke City in finding that all important equalizer against the Hammers last time out…

…but that hasn’t stopped some from coming to the Spaniard’s aid of late…
I'm an Adrian fan. I still think he's the better keeper between Randolph and himself BUT Randolph deserves his shot at staking a claim.

Then again, most West Ham fans seemingly can’t wait for Adrian to be dropped from the starting line-up…
Have been waiting for Adrian to do that for weeks. Has to be dropped now
— WestHamFan (@WestHam_Fan_) November 5, 2016
…and as the Spanish shot-stopper has arguably been in poor form for quite some time now truth be told…
Adrian needs to be dropped now. That's not the first mistake that's lead to a goal this season. He can't be rewarded for bad performances

…surely it’s time for Bilic to show some faith in Darren Randolph, just to see what the 29-year-old Irish international is capable of among the Premier League!
When's bilic gonna realise that Randolph is the better goalkeeper, Adrian good shop stopper but makes to many mistakes on a regular basis
