Atalanta vs Fiorentina

We’re in Bergamo for the first of our Over 2.5 Goals betting tips on Sunday. Atalanta conceded four in midweek in the Champions League and will be desperate to bounce back in this fixture. Last weekend, they scored in the dying embers of the game to record a 2-1 victory over Genoa. That was the third consecutive game in which Gasperini’s side have failed to keep a clean sheet, and that’s now six goals conceded. Luckily, they do have firepower at the other end of the field with Luis Muriel and Duvan Zapata have scored three goals each so far. Fiorentina are winless in 17, but they are looking sharper in the final third. Although they couldn’t find a way past Juventus, they have scored four times so far and should be able to find a way past this flimsy Atalanta defence. The last three matches between these sides have ended 2-1, 3-1 and 3-3.

 

Tromso vs Stromsgodset

Stromsgodset head to the north of the country in desperate need for points, as they sit rooted to the bottom of the table. Traditionally, Tromso are always strong at home and they are currently unbeaten in their last five matches here. They’ve netted twice in three of their last four matches, and last weekend’s 3-0 defeat to Molde was the first time they haven’t registered (home or away) since June 30th. Godset’s form has improved of late, but that has generally been reserved for home matches. Six of their last seven matches have contained three or more goals, and most recently lost 2-1 on the road to Stabaek. They have managed to hit the target in three of their last four away games, and with their situation at the bottom of the table, they should be able to find a way through here. It ended 3-1 here last season, and the pair shared another four goals in the reverse fixture in May.

 

 

Ranheim vs Bodo/Glimt

Bodo/Glimt have their eyes on their first ever Eliteserien title, but their form in recent weeks is a little concerning. They won’t have been helped by the sale of Hakon Evjen to AZ Alkmaar. Although he won’t leave until January, he’s scored ten goals this season, and will hopefully play an important part in the remainder of the campaign. Bodo only know one way to play – at full throttle. Their 3-3 draw with Stabaek last weekend encapsulated their season, and it was another typically topsy-turvy tie. They’ve scored 21 goals in their last eight matches, although they’ve also conceded 11 times in that period (six in their last two). Only one of their away games since mid-May has featured fewer than three goals, and that pattern should continue here. Hosts Ranheim are struggling at the wrong end of the table, yet they have found the net in each of their last two home matches. There have been 16 goals in their last four home defeats, and they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet here since early May. It finished 5-1 when they met in July.

 

Yeni Malatyaspor vs Galatasaray

We’re off to Turkey for our final Over 2.5 Goals selection. Gala have added some interesting names to their squad this season with Falcao the latest to join up. The veteran striker scored on his debut last weekend, and he could be heavily involved once again. Fatih Terim’s side kept a clean sheet against Kasimpasa, yet they look far from assured on their travels. They’ve conceded four times on the road, and have netted just three. They left it late to overcome Kayserispor prior to the International break, and we can expect another entertaining one here. The hosts stuck three past Istanbul Basaksehir on the opening weekend before conceded three first half goals to Alanyaspor. They scored four last weekend, and will cause problems for the visitors. Last season, it ended 2-5 here, and whilst we aren’t expecting seven goals this time around, it could be another entertaining one.
