Sheffield United v Norwich Betting Tip – Sheffield United win

Sheffield United play host to Norwich on Saturday after both clubs made it through to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup in midweek. Sheffield United needed extra-time to see off Reading, while Norwich dumped out Tottenham on penalties. However, Sheffield United have had an extra 24 hours rest over Norwich and that could prove crucial in this weekend’s ecounter at Bramall Lane. Chris Wilder’s men have lost only one of their last nine games in all competitions and they have a real chance of qualifying for Europe in their first season back in the Premier League. Norwich remain rooted to the bottom of the table, six points adrift of safety, despite their impressive victory over Leicester last week. Daniel Farke’s troops have a miserable away record in the Premier League this season, winning just one of their 14 trips, losing 10 of them and scoring just six goals along the way. Sheffield United have won three of their last four meetings with Norwich and home advantage should ensure another win for the Blades here.

Wolves v Brighton Betting Tip – Wolves win

Wolves will be seeking to boost their top four hopes when they welcome struggling Brighton to Molineux on Saturday. Wolves are currently in sixth place in the table following an impressive comeback win against Tottenham last time out. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea and they are right in the hunt to qualify for next season’s Champions League. Brighton on the other hand are facing a real battle to avoid relegation after a run of eight Premier League games without a win. The Seagulls are just one point above the relegation drop zone following last weekend’s disappointing home defeat to Crystal Palace and the pressure is starting to build on Graham Potter’s side. Wolves are in great form right, scoring lots of goals and with Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez in top form they should have too much for an out-of-sorts Brighton side.

Ipswich v Coventry Betting tip – Coventry win

Coventry City will be aiming to cement their place at the top of League One when they travel to below-par Ipswich Town this weekend. The Sky Blues are unbeaten in 13 games, winning 10 of those, to put themselves in pole position to win promotion back to the Championship. Mark Robins’ side are one of the form teams in the country right now and a trip to Portman Road will hold no fear for them. Ipswich are going in the opposite direction dropping out of the promotion picture after three straight defeats. Ipswich are six points outside the play-off places and their home form is a real concern for manager Paul Lambert. Ipswich  have lost four out of six at home against teams currently in the top eight of League 1 and I cannot see that changing against a confident Coventry side. Coventry have won six of their last seven away games and with promotion in their sights they should come away with another three points this weekend.

Fleetwood v Blackpool Betting Tip – Fleetwood win

Fleetwood have hit form just at the right time to boost their promotion aspirations ahead of this weekend’s visit of local rivals Blackpool. Joey Barton’s side have have won six and drawn one of their last seven matches to move into the top six in League One. Fleetwood are unbeaten in 10 games and have a real opportunity of winning promotion to the Championship for the first time in their history. New Blackpool boss Neil Critchley takes charge of his first game and he could not have asked for a tougher assignment away to in-form Fleetwood. Blackpool have won their last two games at home, but their away form has been alarming winning just twice on their travels this season. Fleetwood have a superb home record against bottom-half teams, winning five and losing none of their seven home matches against those that currently sit in the bottom half and that should continue against Blackpool this weekend.

Crewe v Stevenage Betting Tip – Crewe win

Promotion hopefuls Crewe take on rock-bottom Stevenage in League Two on Saturday in what looks like a home banker for your accumulator. Crewe are in second place in the table a massive 44 points ahead of hapless Stevenage. Stevenage have lost their last seven matches and seem certain for relegation to the National League after a miserable campaign. Crewe are deservedly big favourites to inflict another defeat on Stevenage and they should duly deliver as they aim to keep pace with leaders Swindon at the top of the table. Crewe have been strong at home this season and they have won their last seven straight at Gresty Road to illustrate the challenge facing basement boys Stevenage. Crewe also boast a good head-to-head record against Stevenage winning five of their seven encounters and they should have very trouble extending that to six wins on Saturday.
