Reasons for this Weekend’s Football Betting Tips

Crystal Palace vs Huddersfield Betting Tip – Crystal Palace win.

Having won just three Premier League games all season, relegation could be confirmed for Huddersfield if they lose this game and with just one away point earned since the beginning of December, their hopes of winning this encounter are not great. The Terriers were leading 3-1 at West Ham in their last game on the road before eventually losing and they now visit a Crystal Palace team winless in their last three fixtures at Selhurst Park. Three points earned for Palace from this contest would considerably ease their relegation fears and they could follow recent wins against Fulham and Burnley by winning this match.

Manchester United vs Watford Betting Tip – Manchester United win.

With victory earned in three of their last five Premier League games, Watford have climbed to a respectable upper mid-table berth in the league table and now have no relegation fears. An FA Cup semi-final at Wembley is now a prime target for the Hornets and they may have less focus on this game than their hosts. Despite losing their last two competitive games, securing a top four position remains a realistic possibility for Manchester United and they have not lost a league game at Old Trafford since August. The Red Devils could resume winning ways on Saturday.

Aston Villa vs Blackburn Betting Tip – Aston Villa win.

Since Jack Grealish returned to the starting XI, the form of Aston Villa has improved considerably as proved by winning all four games to date during March with eleven goals scored. Villa scored seven goals without reply in claiming six points from their last two fixtures on home soil and they now host a Blackburn outfit currently struggling for points on the road. Rovers have lost four of their last five away fixtures in Championship action with at least two goals conceded in each of those matches. The Blackburn defence may be unable to cope with the Villa attack and a home win is predicted for the Saturday accumulator.

Charlton vs Bradford Betting Tip – Charlton win.

Following a dismal 4-1 home defeat by Blackpool in their previous League One game, the Bradford players were jeered from the Valley Parade pitch with recently installed manager Gary Bowyer demanding a positive reaction for their next game. Yet bottom team Bradford have yet to win on away soil this year and visit a Charlton outfit aiming for the promotion playoffs. The Addicks have lost just one league match during 2019 and both Portsmouth and Burton were beaten in previous home games staged at the Valley. A third successive home win is likely for Charlton.

Chesterfield vs Dagenham Betting Tip – Dagenham win.

A 3-1 midweek home defeat by Dover ensured that Dagenham conceded six goals in losing their last two National League matches and they have claimed just three league victories this year. The Daggers still appear to be relatively safe from relegation fears as the season approaches its climax, but they will be aware that hosts Chesterfield have won three matches this month and scored at least twice in their five latest fixtures. Having beaten Sutton 3-0 at the weekend, the Spireites could follow that comfortable victory by winning this clash.
