Sunday’s League One Accumulator Tips – Back These 3 Predictions for a 5/1 Treble

Football accumulator tips

While the 2022/23 League One campaign might be drawing to a close on Sunday lunchtime, there are plenty of battles at both ends of the table that still need to be resolved and we have three betting tips for an accumulator.

Ahead of what looks like it could be a nail-biting final afternoon of third-tier fixtures, we have found a handful of noteworthy tips that can offer a lucrative return for your Sunday accumulator.

12:00 Port Vale vs Plymouth

While Plymouth might have suffered EFL Trophy heartbreak at Wembley on April 2nd, the Pilgrims have certainly proven that their 4-0 drumming at the hands of Bolton was nothing more than a minor blip. Only continuing on what has been a famous League One romp this season, Steven Schumacher’s side have already breezed their way to an automatic Championship return for the first time since 2010. Enjoying what has been a dominant end to the campaign and now winning each of their last five straight League One appearances, Sunday’s guests will simply be looking to sign off their famous flurry with yet another statement away from Home Park. Last seen claiming a 1-0 victory at home against Burton, Plymouth will be more than aware that one more win this weekend will see them officially crowned third-tier champions.

Although Port Vale might have eventually crawled their way over the finish line, it doesn’t cover what has been a woeful run of form for Sunday’s hosts. Last seen slumping to an action-packed 3-2 loss away at Charlton, the Burslem-based outfit have recorded just a single victory from their previous 10 straight appearances. With their nightmare spell stemming all the way back to March 4th, interim boss Andy Crosby really couldn’t have wished for a sterner test here.

12:00 Oxford United vs Accrington Stanley

Although Oxford might have shown a host of issues since opening 20203, there is no doubt that Liam Manning’s men have hit top gear at a crucial time. Skyrocketing their way out of the drop zone and now all but mathematically extending on their League One status, Saturday’s hosts have secured back-to-back victories for the first time since the middle January. Last seen putting in another rampant display as they cruised their way to a 3-0 romp away at Forest Green, Oxford have won their consecutive League One appearances by a 7-0 aggregate score. Really finding a clinical edge in the final third when signing off April, the ex-MK Dons boss will be smelling the chance for his side to sign off their downbeat campaign with another victory at the Kassam Stadium.

Making an immediate return to losing ways last weekend as they slumped to a 2-1 loss at home against Cambridge, Accrington Stanley have already accepted their fate ahead of Sunday’s showdown. With their League One relegation set to be confirmed and coming under real scrutiny this season, John Coleman’s side have had little to cheer about in Lancashire. In fact, along with losing five of their last six League One outings, Accrington have also suffered a defeat in nine of their previous 11 appearances.

12:00 Exeter vs Morecambe

Needing an almighty great escape if they’re to maintain their League One status, Morecambe will know that nothing but all out attack will be enough on Sunday lunchtime. However, while the Shrimps might be needing a minor miracle in Devon, they have found a real purple patch over the past few weeks. Last seen putting in another remarkable display as they claimed a 3-2 win at home against Lincoln, Derek Adams’ men have now won each of their last three League One appearances. Likewise, with their recent success highlighted by another 3-2 win away at Charlton on April 22nd, Morecambe should be smelling a real chance when they travel to an Exeter side who are enduring a public defensive crisis.

Really limping their way over the finish line and last seen getting hit with an infamous 6-0 drumming away at Ipswich, the Grecians have now lost each of their last six straight League One appearances. With their woeful run of form underlined by a 3-1 loss at the hands of Peterborough on April 10th, Gary Caldwell’s side have also shipped 15 strikes on their six-match losing run.
