Weekend Football Tips – Three Saturday League One Bets for a 32/1 Treble

My followers must be bored of all the League One chat and tips I’m putting up on a weekly basis but it’s where all my efforts are again for this weekend’s football tips.

2/3 selections came in last week and I’m happy to stick to this division as I believe it offers better value and slightly more consistency compared to the Championship or League Two.

 

Ipswich to win & BTTS vs Accrington – 3/1

It’s hard to bet against Ipswich at the moment and I’m backing them to come away from the Wham stadium with all 3 points on Saturday. Accrington are no pushovers though. They have had a steady start to the season and are only 1 of 3 (Ipswich & Pompey the others) teams in League One that actually remain unbeaten (albeit played 1 game less than others).

Accrington haven’t faced anyone like the caliber of Kieran McKenna’s side yet though and I think Ipswich will end up being too strong for John Coleman’s men. I believe it will be a close affair though and that’s why I’m backing Ipswich to win and BTTS at bigger odds than just the win-only market offers. I couldn’t quite come to the idea of tipping a correct scoreline but to me, this has a 1-2 result written all over it.

 

Bristol Rovers to win vs Morecambe – Evs

I’ve backed a couple of teams on this article this season that have previously let me down (Pompey, Sheffield Wednesday) and that’s exactly what I’m doing again this week with Bristol Rovers. Rovers weren’t at their best last weekend and were left frustrated by a Shrewsbury team who came for a draw and scored a late equaliser from another set piece. I’m backing Rovers to get back on the winning run though after 3 games without one. They are a side that will be boosted by a few deadline day signings and hopefully, those signings have an impact here.

Morecambe have had a poor start to the season and were brushed aside at home to a confidence-laden MK Dons side last week. They have only scored 2 goals and conceded 10 in their opening 6 games and I think they are in for a long season this time around.

I think Rovers are a great price here and I believe they should be odds on but Evens is good enough to use one of these betting promo codes on with the aim of doubling your money.

 

Sheffield Wednesday to win & BTTS vs Barnsley – 3/1

Wednesday are finally hitting top form and come into this game on the back of a 5-0 hammering of Forest Green last weekend. They are scoring goals from all over the pitch and I see them being too strong for Barnsley on Saturday. Wednesday average 2 goals a game scored so far and I think that ratio will continue here.

Barnsley haven’t had the easiest of starts fixtures wise but their form has been very inconsistent to date. I don’t think they will leave Hillsborough with any points on Saturday but I do believe they will cause problems and score. They average over a goal per game from their opening 6 games and I’m happy to add BTTS to the Wednesday win market to get a bigger price than just the straight win.
