What does the future hold for Leicester City in 2016/17?

After beginning the 2016/17 Premier League campaign in less than assured style with opening day defeat to manager-less Hull City, a few select critics have already begun to circle Leicester City and their proposed desire to transfer their previous domestic form into the new season.

 

It remains to be seen whether or not Claudio Ranieri’s determined Foxes really have what it takes to succeed among the English top-flight after taking literally every British football fan by surprise last term, yet with a potentially gruelling Champions League campaign ahead of them in the not too distant future, perhaps Leicester City’s outstanding league form is bound to plummet sooner rather than later.

 

Although Ranieri has nonetheless been quick to address just why his title-winning side failed to produce the goods against the Tigers this afternoon…

 

 

…some have been left rather worse for wear after the surprise opening day defeat for the Foxes…

 

 

Certain Leicester City fans are already regretting some of the big money transfer moves that have taken place down at the King Power Stadium this summer…
