Who do Swansea City fans really want as their club’s next manager?

Despite ending the 2014/15 campaign on relatively stable ground, and subsequently paying witness to a rather fruitful time over the course of the summer transfer period, Swansea City have most definitely failed to hit their strongest form throughout the current season.

Although the threat of relegation does indeed feel some way off for the Swans at this particular stage in the proceedings, the determined Welsh outfit simply must up their game sooner rather than later. Garry Monk has already lost his job down at the Liberty Stadium of course, and if a replacement isn’t sourced in the not too distant future, it remains difficult to imagine Swansea rediscovering their best performances any time soon.

So then, as caretaker manager – Alan Curtis – isn’t expected to take on a full-time role down in the Liberty dug-out throughout the course of the 2015/16 campaign, just who do Swansea City fans really want to step in as their club’s next manager?

Well, although many believe that Garry Monk was given a particularly hard time by the Swansea bosses this season…

…some Swans fans nevertheless wanted to see the back of the 36-year-old tactician…

Former Marseille boss, Marcelo Bielsa, was initially considered a decent option down at the Liberty Stadium…

…but it seems Chile’s Jorge Sampaoli has also emerged as a serious target for Swansea in recent weeks…

Former Sunderland and Brighton boss, Gus Poyet, has also been linked with the job as of late…

…even if some highly doubt the Uruguayan’s credentials right in the here and now…

Another standout name also arrives in the form of ex-Borussia Monchengladbach manager, Lucien Favre…

…with some even considering the notion of Alan Curtis stepping in on a full-time basis…

However, perhaps the most illustrious name to be linked with the available Swansea post would invariably go down as current Ajax boss, Frank de Boer…

The former Dutch international does in-fact seem like the fans’ ideal choice when all is said and done…

So, although the Welsh club won’t likely see themselves relegated by the culmination of the current campaign, finding a new manager must simply arrive as Swansea City’s utmost priority at the end of the day.
