Both Teams to Score Tips

Oldham vs Rotherham

Although Oldham have drawn a blank in their last two matches, they were away from home and that isn’t where they are prolific. At Boundary Park they tend to play more expansive football resulting in more goals. That is proven by the fact only three teams have scored more goals at home than the Latics. The main reason why they sit a point above the relegation places is their defence. They have conceded the most goals in the league. That bodes well for today’s visitors, who are currently on a run which has seen them score in each of their last 19 games. Goals look to be on the menu this afternoon.

Arbroath vs Queens Park

Arbroath have scored in each of their last 12 games, with eight of those seeing this tip land. Queens Park sit second bottom in the league, but league positions mean nothing when putting a both teams to score bet on. They have scored two or more goals in each of their last seven games, including their last three matches which have all finished in 2-2 draws. They would probably take another draw here, but either way we can see both teams scoring at least one.

East Fife vs Alloa

Sticking in the Scottish first division, where East Fife host Alloa. Only second placed Ayr have scored more goals at home than East Fife this season. Prior to their last match, East Fife’s last eight games all saw both teams getting on the scoresheet. That’s a great ratio for a bet like this, but looking at Alloa’s record it only adds to the chances of this bet landing. They have scored in each of their last 11 games, but have also conceded in seven of them. Chances are both sides will once again net more goals.

Raith vs Ayr

The final game in the both teams to score tips this weekend also comes from League 1 in Scotland in a top of the table clash. Raith sit top of the league just a point above second placed Ayr. These two sides are the top scorers in the division. Both are decent defensively but that goes out of the window in a game like this, where both sides will look to attack. Raith are unbeaten in their last six but have conceded in five of those games. That makes it look like a certainty that Ayr will get on the score sheet, given that they have scored a whopping 32 goals in just 10 away games so far. That’s 12 more than any other team, so they certainly offer plenty of firepower. Sometimes top of the table clashes can be cagey affair, but we are expecting the opposite on Saturday afternoon.
