Both teams to score betting tips for a 4-fold accumulator on Sunday 16th April with reasons for each selection and the best odds for the BTTS tip.
Our BTTS 4-fold this Easter Sunday features two games from Holland and then a final pair in La Liga. The straight accumulator comes in at a best price of just over 11/2 with 888Sport which looks decent value considering the reliability of some of the sides in the BTTS market this season. We’ve fallen an agonising goal short for the last two Sundays in a row, hopefully we’re due a win this time around.
If you open a new 888Sport betting account you will get the odds for your first bet trebled, so instead of getting 11/2 for the 4-fold you will get 16.5/1. That means a £10 bet pays £165.
Our opening selection for the BTTS tip is the first of two from the Dutch Eredivisie as Feyenoord take on Utrecht at 13:00. The hosts have seen their lead at the top of the table cut to a single point after losing 2-1 away to second placed Ajax, before a shock 2-2 draw away to PEC Zwolle. Nevertheless, Feyenoord remain strong on home soil and have notched a ridiculous 13 goals in their last two(!) games at Der Kuip. Opponents, Utrecht consolidated fourth place in the table with a 3-0 home win over FC Twente last weekend and that took the visitors current winning streak to four games. In addition to this, Utrecht have found the net eleven times during this period and also played out a highly encouraging 3-3 draw with Feyenoord earlier in the campaign. With that in mind, we have to get this fixture on board this Sunday.
We’re staying in Holland for our second choice as Groningen face-off against PEC Zwolle at the same time of 13:00. Both of these sides have a little breathing space between themselves and the relegation zone but cannot afford to be complacent as the season comes to a close. Groningen head into the clash off the back off a 4-3 defeat away to ADO Den Haag and have only managed to win the once in their last twelve. Nevertheless, the hosts have scored at least once in their last ten home games in a row, with eight of those also finishing with both teams finding the net. Zwolle head to town fresh from a terrific 2-2 draw at home to Feyenoord last weekend and are currently one of the reliable teams in Holland to back for a BTTS result. The visitors have seen both teams find the net in eight of their last nine games in the league, as well as six of their last seven away from home. I can’t imagine we’ll be hanging around too long for this one to settle.
We’re off to La Liga for our penultimate leg as Valencia welcome Sevilla to the Mestalla at 15:15. It might have taken them a while to get going, but Los Che have finally managed to string some form together over the last few weeks and now sit comfortably in mid-table. One element of their season that has remained constant, though, has been their excellent record for BTTS results. Valencia currently have the second best strike-rate in the entire division for both teams finding the net at 71% and have also seen five of their last six land in the market as well. Sevilla are only just behind their hosts in the BTTS charts at 65% and also played out a 2-1 victory against Valencia in the corresponding match earlier in the campaign. The visitors have only managed to keep one clean sheet away from home in their last seven, and I don’t see them improving on that this weekend either. With that being said, give this game the nod this Sunday.
Our final selection features the evening kick off in La Liga as Grenada take on Celta Vigo at 19:45. In one of the more surprising news stories this weekend, Grenada appointed former England Captain Tony Adams in a bid to claw back a seven point deficit from safety at the bottom of La Liga. Whether, Adams will be a success, only time will tell. However, the hosts head into this particular clash knowing that their opponents don’t generally travel well and were also involved in a hard fought 3-2 victory against Genk in the Europa League on Thursday night. From our bet’s perspective, though, Grenada have seen both teams find the net in four of their last five, as well as scoring in eight of their last ten home games as well. Opponents, Celta Vigo appear to be throwing all their eggs into the European basket and their form in La Liga has suffered as a result. Nevertheless, the visitors have scored in five of their last six away games and also won the meeting between the two sides earlier in the season by a 2-1 scoreline. As always, keep your eye on the cash out button should we make it this far, but I’m fairly confident there should be some goals in this one on Sunday evening.
