Cardiff vs Nottingham Forest Predictions

Cardiff looked bereft of ideas at the weekend as they struggled against Stoke at the Bet365. Lee Tomlin’s absence hit the Bluebirds hard, and Neil Harris’ side must find a way to bounce back here. The Welsh side have been tough to beat in recent weeks, but they may suffer back-to-back defeats here. They remain just a few points off the play-off spots, and have a hugely impressive home record. They’ve suffered just a single defeat in front of their own fans this campaign, although they’ve also won just one of their last six matches here.

Nottingham Forest were left frustrated at the weekend, as they saw Joe Worrall’s header ruled out by the officials. They were unable to find a way past a resolute QPR side, who were expertly marshalled by Yoann Barbet. The Tricky Trees will be hoping for more cutting edge here.

Sabri Lamouchi’s men are very well organised, however they can occasionally lack ideas in the final third and they may have to settle for a point.

Betting tip for Cardiff vs Nottingham Forest – Draw – 11/5

What score will Cardiff vs Nottingham Forest be? 1-1  – 24/5

West Brom vs Preston Predictions

West Brom remain top of the Championship table following a 3-0 demolition of Bristol City at the weekend. Even with ten men, the Baggies looked the most likely side to score, and they capitalise on a sloppy Robins performance. Remarkably, they’ve kept just a single clean at the Hawthorns this season, and they will be keen to tighten up in front of their own fans.

The hosts have only won of their last five home matches, although they easily swept aside Luton here at the beginning of February.

WBA have the second best form in the division (based on six games) with only Preston having a better record in recent games. PNE were victorious yet again at the weekend, coming from 1-0 down to beat Hull City. Alex Neil’s men have netted nine times in their last five away matches and will be full of confidence.

Two in-form sides meet on Tuesday night and it makes sense to back BTTS to land again.

Betting tip for WBA vs Preston – BTTS – 4/5

What score will WBA vs Preston be? 2-2  – 14/1

Blackburn vs Stoke Predictions

Blackburn’s home form is absolutely superb and Tony Mowbray’s men are incredibly difficult to beat at Ewood Park. Only six sides have a better record on their own patch, and they could make it tough for travel-shy Stoke.

Rovers have lost just once here since the end of September with high-flying Fulham edging past them at the beginning of the month. The former of Adam Armstrong has been a huge coup, and the striker will be keen to add to his double at the weekend.

Stoke have improved since Michael O’Neill arrived in the Potteries, however he must find a way to address their problems on the road. His side kept another home clean sheet at the weekend, but they’ve now conceded four goals in each of their last two away games.

Blackburn should be able to continue their terrific form in Lancashire.

Betting tip for Blackburn vs Stoke – Blackburn win – 27/20

What score will Blackburn vs Stoke be? 2-1  – 17/2

Middlesbrough vs Leeds Predictions

These two sides sides enjoyed contrasting fortunes at the weekend with Leeds beating Reading by a solitary goal, whilst Middlesbrough put in another fairly abject performance at Oakwell.

Boro fans are understandably getting a little nervous with their side slipping slowly towards the dropzone. With the likes of Barnsley and Wigan picking up points, the Teessiders can’t afford to draw too many more blanks.

This is a tough game for Jonathan Woodgate’s side, and they’ll need to be at their defensive best here. Unfortunately without Dael Fry and potentially Daniel Ayala, they could struggle to keep Leeds off the scoresheet.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have only scored seven times in 2020, yet their defence has helped them to pick up some very important points. They still look on course for promotion, and looked far too good for Reading on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds have kept 14 clean sheets this season, and with Boro creating very little of late, this could be very one-sided.

Betting tip for Middlesbrough vs Leeds – Leeds win – 13/20

What score will Middlesbrough vs Leeds be? 0-2  – 6/1

Millwall vs Birmingham Predictions

Millwall have one of the best defences in the division, and despite winning just one of their last five games, they’ve conceded just four goals during that period. The Lions have sometimes struggled to create meaningful chances and they drew yet another blank against Wigan on Saturday. Gary Rowett has certainly made his side tough to play against and they should never be underestimated despite their lack of firepower.

Jed Wallace is their most creative player and if he is marked out of the game, they can often struggle to carve out opportunities.

Birmingham took the lead twice, yet still couldn’t pick up maximum points against Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend. The Blues required Scott Hogan to rescue them once again, and he’s linked up superbly with Lukas Jutkiewicz since arriving at the club.

Brum have lost just one of their last nine on the road, and are unbeaten since December 21st on their travels. Millwall have been beaten just three times at this ground, and there is very little between the pair. The draw seems the likely outcome.

Betting tip for Millwall vs Birmingham – Draw – 9/4

What score will Millwall vs Birmingham be? 1-1  – 24/5

Sheffield Wednesday vs Charlton Predictions

Sheffield Wednesday looked much better at the weekend and that may just be a turning point in their season. The Owls have been in freefall and Garry Monk was struggling to prevent his side hurtling down the Championship table. However, they looked very good going forward against Birmingham at the weekend, and the return of Barry Bannan and Fernando Forestieri helped make the difference.

They’ve been poor at home, and they lack goals at Hillsborough, however this could be the ideal game for them.

Charlton got back to winning ways at the weekend and their 3-1 victory against Luton helped put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three. The Addicks have not been great on the road this season, although they did recently triumph at the City Ground.

They concede far too many goals on their travels however, and a rejuvenated Wednesday could take advantage.

Betting tip for Sheffield Wednesday vs Charlton – Sheffield Wednesday win – 3/4

What score will Sheffield Wednesday vs Charlton be? 2-1  – 7/1
