The first selection is based on Kevin Blake telling a recent preview night it is his best bet of the week. He beat Getabird in a Grade One over the Christmas period and has been well backed for this race. The drop in trip must be a positive otherwise trainer Gordon Elliott would have looked at other races and he can win a wide open Arkle to open up our Festival accumulator in fine style.
The second selection is also from the Cheltenham day 1 action and we’re backing Give Me a Copper to give in-form Paul Nicholls a winner. He finished fourth in an eye catching performance when returning to Sandown after over a year off and he might just be very well in at the weights running off just 145.
The third selection for the Cheltenham 2019 accumulator tip is the shortest price of the four picks and we’re going for Delta Work to win the RSA Chase on Wednesday. He has had a fantastic first season over fences and if he puts in another perfect round of jumping he will be very difficult to beat. Le Richebourg has been pulled out of the race but Delta Work’s beating of him over the winter was very eye catching after recovering from an error at the last.
The last pick is probably the best bet of the week for our Cheltenham tipster and it is Defi De Seuil in the JLT Novices. He had potentially been running in the Arkle but looks almost certain to run on Thursday now. His last performance should be good enough to win this and can see off Lostintranslation up the hill.
