Doncaster vs Plymouth betting tips and predictions for a HUGE game in League Two on Sunday afternoon which kicks off at 14:15.
Six points separate these two teams at the summit of the division but who will come out on top at the Keepmoat?
For months it has appeared as though no side wants to the League Two crown. Each side has suffered from inconsistencies and unexpected dips in form which has thrown the market one way and then another. Finally, Doncaster have picked themselves up, dusted themselves off and made a damn good go of it! Darren Ferguson’s side had a calamitous few months last season which saw a surprise relegation and their squad has always looked talented enough to cope at this level. They have opened up a six point gap on the Pilgrims and victory in South Yorkshire would extend it to nine and they could comfortably look down on the others going into the Easter fixtures. John Marquis has hit 20 goals and the recent form of Tommy Rowe coupled with the gradual return of Gary McSheffrey have definitely helped. Donny are back to their old ways and hit sorry Leyton Orient for four last weekend at Brisbane Road.
Plymouth were many people’s tips for the title after Derek Adam’s side narrowly missed out last season and they still stand an excellent chance of automatic promotion, but could do with knocking Donny off their perch here. They’ve suffered from inconsistency this season, lurching from 3-0 victories over local rivals Exeter to home defeats to Leyton Orient. They come into this three undefeated and the confidence should be flowing around the squad.
Doncaster are undefeated at the Keepmoat all season, so it’s unlikely Plymouth will make the long trip back with a maximum haul. Donny have recently beaten Notts County and Cheltenham here but this is much tougher. Plymouth have picked up points from Luton and Wycombe on their travels recently and should get something from this. Our first Doncaster vs Plymouth prediction is for the match to end a draw and the odds are 11/4 with Coral.

Donny have kept just four clean sheets since the 5th of January with three of those coming on the road. Plymouth’s most recent blanks have both come at Home Park and should get on the scoresheet here. Back Both Teams to Score? Yes, for our second Doncaster vs Plymouth betting tip at 5/6 with Stan James.

John Marquis has been in fine goalscoring form, but is a bit short on the anytime goalscoring market here. Take his team-mate Tommy Rowe at a nicer price of 9/4 with Bet365 to complete our Doncaster vs Plymouth predictions for this weekend.

Ian Lawlor looks to have recovered in time to take his place in the side for this crunch match. Ferguson has named the same XI for four matches in a row and he is likely to make it five here.
Plymouth are also likely to name an unchanged side.
Plymouth have a good recent record against this opposition winning the last three meetings. They beat Doncaster 2-0 back in December but that was their first meeting since 2010. Doncaster’s last victory came at Home Park in 2009.
The traders have made Doncaster odds-on favourites for this and can be backed at around 3/4 with most firms. Plymouth are a much bigger 7/2 whilst the draw can be backed 11/4
John Marquis is odds-on to score anytime in this fixture but Tommy Rowe and Graham Carey both have 12 goals this season and can be backed at 9/4 and 10/3 respectively.
