France vs Russia Betting Tips and Predictions – 29/03/16
France vs Russia predictions and betting tips for the Euro 2016 warm-up friendly on Tuesday 29th March with three football tips.
France take on Russia on Tuesday night and yet again it’s another friendly for France who haven’t played a competitive game since the World Cup due to automatically qualifying for the European Championships this summer due to being the host country. It is the first game in Paris since the devastating terrorist attacks back in November.
France vs Russia Predictions
France head into this one after an entertaining 3-2 win over Holland last week and currently look like they have a great chance of winning Euro 2016 on home turf. Personally, they are my favourites for the competition due to the massive strength in depth in the French squad for Euro 2016.
However, Russia won’t be a walk in the park for them who brushed aside Lithuania 3-0 on Saturday, winning our football betting tips and have won six of their last seven games. These wins include their last four away games which they have won only conceding two goals in the process, but also scoring an impressive 14.
France are as short as 1/2 to win on Tuesday as expected they are clear favourites but even better value is for both teams to score and France to win. France shown that they are leaky in defence conceding two goals against a struggling Holland side and with Russia scoring plenty of goals of late its definitely worth a punt.
Therefore, my first France vs Russia prediction is for France to win and both teams to score. As I said its definitely worth a punt especially at Betfair’s price which is best on the market at 15/4.
Dimitri Payet made an excellent performance against Holland on Friday and his manager talked highly about him after the game saying ‘everything he touches turns to gold’. With his excellent set piece ability that he shown in the FA Cup for West Ham, he could definitely bag a goal.
My second football tip for France vs Russia is an anytime goalscorer tip and Payet to score at any time. Due to it being a friendly it’s hard to say whether he will start but putting him to score anytime gives us more hope if he is on the bench. The best price for this is 29/10 with Bet Victor.
As mentioned earlier, I am a big fan of France and I do think they are going to be too strong for Russia, especially playing at home. Despite being a short price favourite, Sky Bet offer a unique market of score and win which consists of picking an anytime goalscorer and the match result.
My third and final tip for this one is going to be Antoine Griezmann to score and France to win. The Atletico star is proving to be a big player for both club and country and grabbed himself a goal against the Dutch on Friday. Sky Bet offer a nice 5/2 for this one.
