Wales v Israel Betting Tips and Predictions
Wales v Israel predictions and betting tips for their Euro 2016 qualifying match with the best free football tips.
Wales head into their clash with Israel on Sunday knowing that a win would send them to the European Championships in France next Summer; their first major tournament since 1958. Can Gareth Bale and co. produce one final epic performance to secure a monumental victory in Welsh football history? We have the match preview and three free football betting tips for Wales v Israel.
Wales v Israel Predictions
Chris Coleman’s Wales team sit top of the group on 17 points after their valiant 1-0 victory against a battling Cyprus side on Thursday. Gareth Bale’s fantastically timed bullet header proved decisive and leaves Wales on the brink of securing a historic qualification to Euro 2016.
With the top two in each group qualifying automatically, three points against Israel would mean certain qualification. A draw would mean that the Welsh fans would have to wait until October to finally secure their place. However, an unthinkable defeat would leave them precariously placed, but with their fate still in their own hands.
With third placed Israel still to face Belgium away, even if Wales taste bitter defeat on Sunday, qualification looks almost in the bag. Chris Coleman may have the weight of expectation on his shoulders, but he has coped admirably so far and I just can’t see them cracking.
Wales secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Israel in March, and with an expectant home crowd willing their team on to secure a historic win, I simply cannot look past a Welsh victory on Sunday.
Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey and Ashley Williams survived a bruising encounter in Cyprus unscathed and look set to lead their team to glory on home soil.
Israel managed a 4-0 victory over the group whipping boys Andorra on Thursday, but before this they lost 3-1 to Bosnia-Herzegovina as well as falling 1-0 to second placed Belgium.
Let’s face it, Israel may provide a few scares along the way, but Wales are going to win. Gareth Bale has pulled them through, kicking and screaming, and I have no doubts about the result.
My first Wales v Israel betting tip is for Wales to win. This can be found at strangely good odds of 10/11 with Ladbrokes.
I don’t think anyone would bet against Bale scoring in the game. Their qualification campaign has followed the script of a fairy tale so far, and it’s just inevitable that the Real Madrid star will get on the score sheet.
My second prediction for Wales v Israel is for the Bale to score anytime. Odds of Evens can be found with Bet365.
I think that with qualification on the table, a few nerves might be shown. Israel may get a few chances and even stick one away, ultimately though I see Wales coming through the match and winning with a slim margin.
My third and final Wales v Israel prediction is for the final score to be 2-1 to the Welsh. Odds of 9/1 can be found with Bet Victor.
