Premier League Fantasy Football Advice and Tips for Gameweek 33+

Fantasy Football tips

The Fantasy Premier League season is reaching its final stages. Here is our look at some key prospects for Gameweek 33+ and beyond.

Manchester United host Bournemouth in one of the easiest to predict Premier League fixtures of the weekend but squad rotation might come into play here, especially given that Bruno Fernandes has played a lot of minutes of late. Elsewhere, some of the Liverpool younger players could get a start so the likes of Robertson, Alexander-Arnold, Salah and Mane could be rested for the match against Aston Villa.

How will you set your Fantasy Football team up for Gameweek 33+? See our advice below.

FPL Goalkeepers and Defenders Tips

This week’s first mention goes to Manchester United captain Harry Maguire (5.3m). Manchester United have kept six clean sheets in their last eight and face a kind run of fixtures. The Red Devils face five of the bottom ten and look set to pick up more defensive returns.

Another side with strong fixtures for the run-in is Norwich. The Canaries have been poor defensively but anyone tipping them to make a great escape might want to take a look at the cut-price Max Aarons (4.3m). Norwich face Brighton, Watford, and West Ham in their next three and thee attacking fullback would certainly be a differential with a 1.4% ownership.

FPL Midfielders Tips

Christian Pulisic’s (6.9m) direct play earned the American two FPL assists each from being fouled against West Ham. The winger has now returned points in each game since the restart ahead of a favourable run of fixtures. Despite Willian’s brace, it is Pulisic that is the go-to man at Chelsea right now.

Liverpool have three promising-looking fixtures, starting with Aston Villa up next. Having already secured the title, their line-ups could be tricky to predict but Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (6.2m) could be an interesting differential. The England international has scored three goals in the league, all of which came against bottom-seven sides.

Phil Foden (5.3m) has hit the ground running since the restart. The young Englishman has scored four goals and grabbed an assist in little over three games worth of playing time. It seems that Foden will be afforded more minutes with little to play for which could make him a bargain pick for the remaining gameweeks.

Newcastle’s Alan Saint-Maximin (5.5m) registered three assists and the Magpies tore apart Bournemouth. The Frenchman has four goal contributions in three games since the restart ahead of a home game against West Ham.

FPL Forwards Tips

Bournemouth have been extremely poor since the restart and were hopelessly overrun against Newcastle. Next up for the Cherries is a steady-looking Brighton. Neal Maupay (5.7m) has bagged nine goals and two assists in his debut campaign including a goal against Arsenal in June. If Bournemouth’s woes continue, Maupay may well profit.

Circling back to Manchester United, Marcus Rashford (9.1m) could be an astute acquisition ahead of a great run of fixtures. Manchester United are currently on their longest unbeaten run of the season with Champions League qualification firmly in their sight. Rashford may not have scored since the restart but two assists against Sheffield United served as a reminder of his quality.

Our final mention for this week is Rashford’s teammate, Mason Greenwood (4.4m). The teenager has two goals in his last five appearances and is seeing regular pitch time in the run-in. A 12-point haul in his last game is a fantastic return for such an affordable attacker.
