Burnley vs Fulham predictions and betting tips for the Premier League fixture on Saturday 12th January with a first goal scorer tip and correct score prediction included.
Expert Tipster Prediction: Both these sides are teams are in a relegation battle this season, but it’s the host who are now looking to break from the pack over the busy winter period. Burnley have won three on the bounce in all competitions and will no doubt be full of confidence. Fulham under Claudio Ranieri have still struggled under the Italian and are still yet to win away from home. This one looks as if it will be a home win and Burnley push Fulham into deeper trouble.
Burnley last time out beat Barnsley 1-0 at Turf Moor and have hit a bit of much needed form after a poor start to the season. They struggled to deal with the early European games and now that they are out of the way it seems as if The Clarets are slowly but surely getting their season going. Fulham are polar opposites, after sacking Slaviša Jokanović, Ranieri hasn’t managed to turn around their season yet. They lost out to League Two Oldham Athletic in the cup and this won’t have done the confidence of the players any favours. On the whole both teams have shipped a combined 99 goals this season, so I think there will be a few goals in this one and Burnley will win and both teams to score.
What are the odds for Burnley to win and both teams to score? 4/1 with William Hill.
For the scorer tip we’re going to back Chris Wood to continue his midseason form and get the first goal of the game. The New Zealand international has scored three goals in the last three games and will be looking to add to his three Premier League goals this season. Other selections could be Ashley Barnes to score first or on the other side Aleksander Mitrovic will be looking to bounce back after missing a penalty against Oldham last time out.
What are the odds for Chris Wood to score first vs Fulham? 5/1 with Paddy Power.
My correct score prediction is for Burnley to edge out Fulham winning 2-1 and jump up the table potentially above Newcastle United who play Chelsea. It would be a fourth win in a row for Sean Dyche’s side and much needed progress up the table. Fulham will push Burnley, but there defence just hasn’t been strong enough this season especially away from home to get anything out of this one.
What are the odds for Burnley to win 2-1 vs Fulham? 10/1 with Bet365.
If you fancy the hosts to win you can get odds of 11/8 for Burnley to win, the draw is at 11/5 with William Hill and Fulham to win is 2/1 with Bet 365. For both teams to score in this one you can get odds of 4/5 on for NO with Sky Bet or 10/11 for both teams to score YES with Sky Bet.
