There are just three matches left in the Serie A season and this weekend there are three games taking place on Saturday 25th July which have importance at both ends of the table.

Inter Milan are still in the race to finish second in the table and face an away te at Genoa, who are still trying to secure their status in Serie A for next season. Elsewhere, Napoli are three points outside the Europa League places and face 8th placed Sassuolo and the final game sees second-bottom Brescia host Parma. Napoli desperately need the 3 points in this one which should leave spaces at the back for Sassuolo to exploit, expect this game to be a thriller with goals coming at both ends.

 

Brescia v Parma Prediction

Brescia’s relegation to Serie B was confirmed midweek when they fell to a 3-1 away defeat to Leece. Brescia would have learned a lot from this season, ultimately they have not been good enough and not at the levels required for survival in a top-flight division. Defensively they have been woeful and this aspect will need serious addressing if they do ever return to Serie A; they have conceded a whopping 74 goals so far this season. Parma stopped the rot of 7 games without a win when they surprised Napoli 2-1 at home, they will now be keen to push on and have a strong end to what has been an okay season for them.
