Cheltenham Festival Non-Runner No Bet Bookies 2024

Cheltenham Festival history

The 2024 Cheltenham Festival gets underway on Tuesday 12th March and runs for the usual four days, concluding on Friday 15th March with the Cheltenham Gold Cup and six other races.

There are always great Cheltenham betting offers available but non-runner no bet is the one people look out for ahead of betting on Cheltenham and we have put together all the latest NRNB bookies for Cheltenham below.

If you like to bet on horse racing ante-post, then Non Runner No Bet is a really important tool in your armoury because it means if the horse you bet on doesn’t run in the race for whatever reason, you will get your stake back in cash. You will usually get better odds for a horse if you bet on it ante-post rather than on the day but this always comes with the risk that the horse will be pulled out of the race beforehand, therefore your ante-post bet loses.

This is where Non Runner No Bet for the Cheltenham Festival 2024 comes in. Losing a bet without the horse even running is the worst way to lose but with non runner no bet, you are likely to get slightly reduced odds, but the insurance that is the horse you’ve bet on doesn’t run in the race, you get your money back as cash.

We will have Cheltenham betting tips for every race of 2024 and there are already some ante-post tips up there, using the NRNB offer with selected bookies.

How does Cheltenham Non Runner No Bet Work?

If you bet on an ante-post horse racing bet and your horse doesn’t run in the race, your bet goes down as a loss. Basically, this means if you bet on a race more than 48 hours before the start, you will lose your money if the horse doesn’t run. 48 hours is when the final declarations for the race will be submitted, meaning the bookies can then change their betting markets from ante-post to a proper market where you will then get your money back if you have a non runner.

With non runner no bet, it means you will get your money back if your horse doesn’t run, even if you have bet on an ante-post market.

For example, bet on a horse to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup with bet365’s non runner no bet promotion. If the horse doesn’t run you get your money back.

If you bet on a horse to win the Gold Cup with a bookies not offering the NRNB promotion on the race, you will lose your money even if your horse doesn’t run in the race.
