Arsenal v Liverpool Betting Tips, Preview and Predictions

Arsenal v Liverpool predictions and football betting tips for Saturday’s live Premier League match with a betting preview.

Liverpool travel to The Emirates looking to bounce back from a defeat to Man United that has seriously dented their Champions League aspirations.  A win for the Gunners would surely seal the Merseysiders fate in the race for Europe and leave them challenging only for a Europa League place.

Arsenal v Liverpool Betting Preview:

Not many will have predicted that Liverpool would fall to an unpredictable United side at Anfield in their last game. However, Juan Mata stole the show as United dominated a Liverpool side who, previous to this match, had not lost in 13 Premier League games since a 3-0 defeat to the same side at Old Trafford in December.

The Scousers are facing a whole host of injury concerns and suspensions ahead of their trip; they are without the suspended pair of Steven Gerrard and Martin Skrtel following the feisty clash with United. Daniel Sturridge, Raheem Sterling, Adam Lallana and Dejan Lovren are all doubtful and will face late fitness tests prior to the game.

Liverpool’s recent form against the bigger teams is quite shocking, managing just one win and six draws from their past 20 matches against teams positioned above them in the table. They have suffered two defeats to Man United as well as losses to Chelsea and Man City already this term. Their last fixture against Arsenal however, finished as a 2-2 draw.

Arsenal come into the match in fine form and with an almost full squad to choose from. Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey are slight doubts for the game but both are expected to be fit enough to make the squad.

The Gunners have won their last eight consecutive home games and are flying high in third place, just 1 point behind the stuttering Champions Man City. A win for Wenger’s men would see them leapfrog City into second at least until The Citizens play on Monday. However, a loss would leave the door open for Man United to rise above them should the defeat Aston Villa at home.

Wenger’s men have a better record against the bigger teams this season compared to the shocking results they suffered in the last campaign. They have a victory and a draw against Man City but suffered losses against Chelsea and Man United this season.

Arsenal v Liverpool Betting Predictions

Liverpool have not conceded an away goal in six Premier League matches, but this is very likely to change at the Emirates where Arsenal have scored in each of their last 20 games at home. Rodgers’ side have scored in 85% of their away games this term and as such I feel both teams will score in this game.

My first Arsenal v Liverpool betting tip is for both teams to score. Odds of 4/6 can be found with Bet365.

Liverpool have won just one of their last 18 games away to Arsenal in all competitions, and I do not believe they will come away with a victory in this clash. Both team’s overall form is particularly good, but this game is a must-not-lose for both sides.

I think the most likely outcome will be a score-draw and as such my second football betting tip is for both teams to score and the match to be a draw at 19/5 with Bet Victor.

With a score draw in mind, our Arsenal v Liverpool correct score prediction is for the match to finish 1-1 at 7/1 with Bet Victor.
