Atalanta vs Fiorentina Betting Tips

Atalanta’s 4-0 defeat in Zagreb was probably one of the more surprising midweek results, and the men from Bergamo must bounce back and focus on Serie A on Sunday. Gian Piero Gasperini’s men usually do hit the target, and it was unusual to see them draw a blank in the Champions League.

In the league, they’ve had mixed form. They lost their opening home match to Torino, despite scoring twice, although they did snatch a late win in Genoa last weekend. They don’t look quite as strong as last season, although they still have plenty of weapons in the final third.

Fiorentina are still on their barren run with the Viola having to failed to win any of their last 17 Serie A games. Once they get their first Serie A win under their belts, they could quite easily put together an unbeaten run. They drew 44% of their games last season which stopped from challenging in the top half, and they collect three points sooner rather than later.

However, neither side can be trusted to keep a clean sheet, and therefore it could be best to simply back goals.
