Cardiff City vs Watford betting tips, predictions and preview for the Premier League fixture on Friday 22nd February 2019. Cardiff are currently a point above the relegation zone and will fancy their chances of getting more points here. See our betting tips and predictions below.
Watford have had a brilliant season so far and find themselves in eighth place in the Premier League table. They are into the last eight of the FA Cup as well after a 1-0 win at QPR last week. However, in the Premier League they have only won one of their last four away and even though that isn’t a bad record at all, Cardiff might just fancy their chances of getting something from this game.
Two of Watford’s last four games in the Premier League have ended 0-0 and Cardiff have won their last two league games. They’ve also kept clean sheets in their last two home matches against Huddersfield and Bournemouth so Neil Warnock’s side are not without a chance here. The first of our betting tips is going to be for Cardiff to win, but use the draw no bet market for a bit of extra insurance.
Cardiff to win – 11/5 with bet365.

New loan striker Oumar Niasse hasn’t scored yet but he has looked bright and could star this match, however we’re going for Bobby Reid in our anytime goalscorer betting tips here. He scored two in the recent win against Bournemouth and the former Bristol City man could get on the scoresheet again here. Watford have kept a few clean sheets of late but the Cardiff fans are right behind the side at the moment and their home form gives them a chance here.
You’ll get odds of 3/1 for Bobby Reid to score if you use Unibet for this bet. Don’t bet at the wrong bookmaker though otherwise you might get odds as short as 2/1.
As already mentioned, we’re expecting Cardiff to get a result here and it would be no surprise if it was a low scoring match in South Wales this week. To cover our draw no bet selection, we’re going for a 1-1 draw at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Cardiff have only scored two goals in their last three home matches and Watford have got the exact same record away from home, so this could be low scoring and under 2.5 goals also looks a good bet, however, the odds for 1-1 are 5/1 with Betfred.
Cardiff to win (draw no bet) – 6/5 with Betfred.
Bobby Reid to score anytime – 3/1 with Unibet.
