Another six-goal thriller is unlikely at St.Andrews, but it should be another entertaining 90 minutes of football. Birmingham’s form has been mixed in recent weeks, with an away defeat to Hull coming off the back of an unlikely victory at Ashton Gate. They can be a difficult side to pin down, but their home form is usually fairly solid, and they won’t make it easy for Villa. The Blues are unbeaten in 14 of their 17 matches at St.Andrews, although eight of those have ended all-square. Garry Monk must be commended for doing an excellent job in trying circumstances, and although he is likely to lose a couple of his star players this summer, a late push for the play-offs isn’t out of the question. He’s looking to bag his fourth goal of a stop-start campaign, and he could be worth backing at 10/3. Although all of his goals have arrived at Villa Park, I think he’s worth siding with.
