Chelsea vs Real Madrid 21/1 Bet Builder Tips and Match Prediction
This Chelsea vs Real Madrid Champions League semi-final is finely poised at 1-1 going into the second leg tonight and we are having a go at a bet builder tip for the big match.
Manchester City are awaiting the winners in the final in Istanbul but for it to be an all Premier League final again, Chelsea will have to be at their best against this experienced Real Madrid side.
Tuchel’s side were brilliant in the first half in Madrid last week and will have been disappointed to only score the one goal in Madrid. Benzema’s well-taken equaliser has left the tie wide open though and it is all to play for at Stamford Bridge tonight.
Both sides warmed up for this game with 2-0 wins over the weekend. Real Madrid kept their title hopes alive with a 2-0 win over Osasuna and Chelsea beat Premier League strugglers Fulham 2-0.
Who will win? Chelsea or Real Madrid? CHELSEA
Chelsea were brilliant at the start of last week’s first leg and back on home soil, they look set to cause Real Madrid problems again. Since arriving at Stamford Bridge, Tuchel has brought a steel to the defence and they’ve kept a clean sheet in 10 of their last 12 home matches. Benzema will once again be the main threat to Chelsea, but an early goal can settle the nerves. It would be risky for Chelsea to sit back on this slender advantage so Tuchel will be looking for his side to score.
Player to have 1+ shot on target: EDEN HAZARD
The former Chelsea players career has faltered since his big-money move to Real Madrid. Plagued by injury and lack of match fitness for long periods, Hazard has struggled for form at Real Madrid. However, he will want to impress tonight and Zinedine Zidane has given him his backing ahead of his return to Stamford Bridge. 8/11 looks generous for Hazard to trouble Mendy in the Chelsea goal.
Player to be booked: TONY KROOS
Kroos is better known for his passing and creative play but he does puta tackle in, and has been booked twice in the Champions League so far this season. Casemiro is the obvious choice in this market but if he misses his tackle to break up an attack, Kroos is the next midfielder in line. At much more generous odds, Kroos is a decent bet to go into the referees notebook tonight, especially if we see anything like the scenes that were witnesses during Manchester City vs PSG, where the PSG players quite simply lost their heads.
